Ladder uber service thoughts

Hi Guys,

Admins, sorry if that is not the right place but it did not feel like a service (yet) I will post a relevant topic there when time comes.

So, as a personal challenge for myself I was thinking of trying to complete ubers asap (my goal is ladder day 1!). And since I would invest quite a lot of time and effort into trying to make this possible I was thinking that I might as well start ladder uber services as soon as I get my torch.

My question is, would anyone here think will be interested in day 1 torches? As for payment... I will not realistically be expecting any HRs bcs that is crazy, but I will happily exchange unid torches for

Key sets. Think that's the most fair way since you'll be sure that I do not "keep" the good torches for myself and sell the rest. So, would anyone be interested in that kind of service that early on? What do you personally think?

History says: torch runners are still rare in the first few days. So yeah, you can make a rather good bit of change doing that (i.e. selling unid torches for keys and spares for runes).

If it's any useful you can start leaving your bnet ids here to start a waitlist and I'll start contacting people in first come first serve basis.

Otherwise you are correct in torch runners are wanted, I was just curious if people would go about farming keys that early on, since otherwise if there's no keys and no runes, there's little value in sitting with a stash full of torches since noone would be able to buy them

Fair point.
I'm inclined to say that most people will go for the basics first, before running keys. At least that's been my observation in the past. So day 1 may be pushing it for most of your potential customers. What I have seen work rather well though is a couple folks teaming up. One gears a smiter asap, the other a

Key farmer. That way you don't need everyone to start farming keys yet to be able to buy your torches but you can sell them (for insane early-days pricing) to whomever stumbled across some nice runes along the way to their starting gear.

Yeah, that's been my understanding too. And frankly that's why I thought of giving this a go. Maybe if people weren't considering doing

Key runs, if they _know_ they do not need the setup, just the keys and have some incentive to collect them (early torch) then they might run for these. For all I care, people can do w/e they want with their torches I find doing the ubers especially undergeard as a nice challenge.

So if I do not make that 10 HR profit that you would selling the identified torch, I do not really care :shrug: it's up to you if you wanna get ahead in runes, I am here for the runs ^^

I think it might be a trick to try to get

Key sets on day 1 from solo players. You might need to manage your price breaks accordingly, e.g. a

Key set plus 3 of any kind (so you profit) = 1 unid torch, or 15 tkeys instead of a set, or something.

Sure, that's why I have not said a fixed price. Anyone who wants an early torch and has something decent to offer will be considered. Ofc, I'd prefer keys bcs it'd let me keep going without needing to go farm the
