Item Values: runes, pgems, charms, stones, statues, essences, etc

Sometimes it seems like people will just accept trades, "just because it sounds good". I often wonder if certain deals are good. Is there a "standard" for commonly used items used for trading? I know there has been a thread dedicated to rune values, basically Ist as the "dollar" standard, but is there something similar for pgems, or other commonly traded items such as charms, world Stone shards, statues, essences or tokens of absolution? For example, how many pgems would an Ist be worth? Are statues worth more than an Ist? How many pgems would buy a statue?

I understand that personal value sometimes gets in the way and a buyer may pay more if he/she thinks its worth more, but the opposite is true as well, maybe the buyer thinks his/her item is worth more than it really is. Is there some kind of general guide that everything can be related to, perhaps pgems being the common denominator since it's the lowest valued traded item? Even among pgems, amethysts and rubies are generally valued more than the others? How does an Amethyst stack up to an Ist, or a statue?

I also understand that certain websites value things much higher than this one, but I do most of my trading here. It would be nice if there were some kind of "standard" for items traded! Anyone have something like this, or willing to put something like this together?

20 pgems equals Ist, 1 Statue Set(or 2 Baal statue) equals 1 Lo(more or less). this is what I can tell you based off what I understand from your question

The market fluctuates too much for anything all-encompassing like this to stay accurate for more than a few weeks. Even more so for Ladder.

More or less this is what I was asking. But to dive deeper, if 20 pgems = Ist, how many perfect rubies = Ist? Or how many Perfect Amethyst = Ist? Or does it matter, just 20 pgems = Ist?

I understand Ladder throws this out the window, and even early ladder vs late ladder prices fluctuate A LOT, but I would think non-ladder would be pretty stable. ROTW has been out for a few months now, so that excitement die down as items become more available on the market.

It definitely does matter

This is just what i've personally observed! But just wanted to add - Ist looks to be closer to 35 Perfect Gems lately on scnl from what i've seen
Perfect Amethyst seems to be around 15:1, Perfect Ruby ~25:1, although they are much less liquid than Perfect Amethyst

Perfect Amethyst 1:2.5 ratio to Perfect Gems seems to stay pretty stable

Again just my 2 cents ^^

Where are you finding these deal ratios? In game? On this site at least Perfect Gems are still mainly 20:1 and Perfect Amethyst are still about 8:1.

Ist worth is rising in rotw.
His observation kind of close to this week rate. maybe a little lower but yes, it is not 100% right but close to market .

20 pgm thing , kind of close to old lod days, even in today's LoD market, it still different from 20, maybe 25- 35 depends on what deal.

LoD Ist value is picking up because of rotw. but still relative lower value against Perfect Gems rotw standard.( Ist purchase less Perfect Gems than rotw )
Or you can say, LoD Perfect Gems can exchange more Ist than rotw.

Mainly from traderie and my own sales here (don't buy much on non-ladder) but i can't speak as much on this site specifically since things move slower and there's fewer currency-to-currency trades overall ime

OK - hold up, you are finding these ratios on SCNL traderie?! Best I can find is 10:1 for Perfect Amethyst and 25:1 for Perfect Gems. I really need to find these 15:1 and 35:1 ratios

it is 40:1 Ist

rotw usually go 35 or massive average 30.

I also get 35 , 40 few trade in tradie in Lod market but not that much like rotw...

I saw that 40:1. But there was only one, an outlier. We can't treat outliers as market trends.

Yes , you are right about that.

I feel it is around 30-35 but I dont really trade in rotw.

OP, read the 4-6 posts immediately above this one and you'll see why a standardized price sheet won't be made. The market is ALWAYS moving.

Oh if you're trying to buy them yes it's closer to 10:1 ^^ though i think you'd be better off making a wts Ist listing for 13 or 14, you'll probably get a trade within mins
I'm usually the one trying to exchange my Perfect Amethyst to Ist bc i never have luck w crafting

Ok now everything makes sense. Looking at it from a seller's perspective then those ratios are a great way to unload your goods quickly. I was looking at it from a buyer's perspective where those ratios are snatched usually before I see them lol.
