Hi
Is there a way to tell on what of the 7 Tombs Duriel will spawn?
(after you have completed his quest...)
And the "direction" where The Summoner and Nihlathak will spawn?

For Nihlathak you can, it's the side with the missing spike on the minimap.
I will be mostly offline for the next 2 months. I won't keep any trades active during this period. I will hold another giveaway on my return.
You can contact me for rune trades if you see me online during this period. Best of luck!

for Duriel, you can work out which tomb based on which symbol isn't there at The Summoner area.
OP
But for that I have to find The Summoner firsticegiant wrote: 1 year ago for Duriel, you can work out which tomb based on which symbol isn't there at The Summoner area.

But it is faster than search the 7 Tombs, if you are farming specifically Duriel...

Summoner : no way. you have to explore
Nilhatak : I didn't know about the missing spike on the mini-map, but you have 2 big eyes in specific walls too.
Right Tomb for Duriel : missing sign at Summoner

I've gotten use to knowing where the eyes are located because I find it quick and easy. To the point, I can run from the waypoint to Nihlathak in under a minute.
This is the order I take. Note that each hall is sectioned.
1. if the eyes are to your left as you step through the door then go to the left.
2. If there are no eyes to your left then look at image 2 (first section) and if eyes are present go that way
3. If not go to image 3, see eyes then go that way
4. If no eyes in 3 then it will be image 4
The whole thing takes seconds. There are already several maps on the forum to show you how to get to the Halls of Vaught from the waypoint.

For Duriel, if you have completed The Summoner quest, you just have to open the quest log and it will show the correct symbol each game. There is no need to go to The Summoner himself after you have completed the quest.
OP
I thing this does only work if you have not completed the Duriel quest... otherwise it shows always the same image...Landros wrote: 1 year ago For Duriel, if you have completed The Summoner quest, you just have to open the quest log and it will show the correct symbol each game. True for online games. Once you've defeated Duriel the best way to find his tomb is to kill The Summoner again, tap his journal, look at the 6, and compare them to the 7 symbols on the floor. The missing one will be his ( Tal's) tomb.fredkid wrote: 1 year agoI thing this does only work if you have not completed the Duriel quest... otherwise it shows always the same image... image.pngLandros wrote: 1 year ago For Duriel, if you have completed The Summoner quest, you just have to open the quest log and it will show the correct symbol each game. Sorry for a small offtopic, but is there a particular reason one would farm Duriel? (not the Tombs)
To my knowledge, the effort it takes to get to him and an average drop table (+ my favorite, 3/4/5? scrolls of town portal dropping instead of ... well something) makes him not the most profitable goal.

Hmm, I guess i never realized the symbol didn't show after the quest. I must never go back to farm him, likely because his drops are terrible compared to the other bosses. When in the zone due to it being terrorized, I have noticed that the false tombs are smaller than the real one, and that if you run into a super chest, you are in a false tomb and you could move on to the next one.
OP
I see no reason to farm Duriel specifically, but when I'm farming Terror Tombs, if I knew what Tomb he is in, I would probably do that tomb 1st.trentor wrote: 1 year ago Sorry for a small offtopic, but is there a particular reason one would farm Duriel? (not the Tombs)

Just to confirm, I test today and The Duriel Tomb is really the one that is missing on the 6 symbols that appear after you kill The Summoner.
