Dual Grief Glitch For Barbarian

I think I should share this to you all.
This is specifically for duo weapon wielding barbarians.

There seems to be a glitch going on where if you have a broken weapon on the other hand, the game will THINK you are wielding two MAIN hand weapons.

For example, if you have a Grief in your main hand and a broken

Crystal Sword (0 durability) on the 2nd hand, the game will think you have a same Grief weapon on the 2nd hand as well.

I tested as well.. It seems to be working. When my

Crystal Sword still had 1 durability left, the monsters weren't dying, but as soon as I broke the CS, the mob started to melt..
So essentially with this current glitch, you can just have one Grief to have duo effect.

Tip: Do not use "REPAIR ALL EQUIPMENT", since you will have to break it again. Just drop the broken weapon if you want to repair your gears. Or use the "REPAIR" to fix them individually.

lmao i just learned about this a few days ago. absolutely hilarious glitch! woooohoooo dual griefs!

Yeah I'ts a known bug for some weeks. Been used by WW barbs a lot. And it does not matter whats the broken weapon in other hand. Can be any 1h weapon.

How about durability?
When u using 1 Grief - it breaks super fast.
It spread on broken weapon too?

If your Grief is in a

Phase Blade it won't suffer durability damage.

Can someone confirm, if bug/glitch has been fixed in the meantime?

They (blizz4rd) will surely clamp down on this just like when they killed the IAS bug and nerfed firewall, etc. Enjoy it while it lasts, fellas. If it stays up, I definitely need to join in and make a WW Barb though.

IAS bug <= yeah they fixed that in 2.3 patch SLIENTLY (Teebling edit - was in patch notes as pointed out by crypto, bug is definitely fixed as of 2.3).
Now there is a frame

Cap again.. so sad about my 3 frame

As of 2.3 patch, this duo glitch is still there and can be used.

I'm sure they will eventually fix it though.

can it also be a Throwing weapon out of stacks?

That is what this game needs, another glitch bug whatever...

I wouldn't use that (I'm against abusing any bug/glitch, personal policy) but I'm curious about something;

When my

If the person has 1 Grief on, how come the monsters weren't dying?
I could use a Wirt leg on my offhand, the monsters would still die because they get hit by my main hand's Grief.

The game bugging and thinking the person has 2 griefs can only double his damage, right? Doubling your damage shouldn't make you go from "The monsters weren't dying" to "The mob started to melt".

I think he didn’t mean it literally. I guess he wanted to say they took much longer before they died

Yes, this glitch is still working fine,

decade old glitch from before resurrected.

PTR 2.4 still have this glitch per Korean Youtuber
