Does d2 reinstall increase drop rate?

I am curious if anyone tried reinstalling this game and his droprates increased afterwards? Because something has to be broken with my installation.

1000 Trav runs is not that many runs. How much MF are you using?

Speaking of rituals, whats yours to get better droprates

Currently i have 211% MF.

There has to be something wrong. My friend playing the game, his droprates are nothing special, but compared to him i need at least 3 times more runs to get what game dropped him.

For me personally with my bowazon (my 1st character to reach hell), I've had decent luck finding my own gear to keep me going (

Raven Frost,

Biggin's Bonnet,

Goldwrap, x5

Chance Guards,

Buriza-Do Kyanon etc.), but when it comes to runes, I seem to be cursed. 4 months of play, and the highest I get is one

Gul rune. Granted, half of the 4 months was spent in NM and below, but now in hell, I keep coming across

Pul and nothing else except lesser runes than those. I'm hoping to change my luck by farming more Chaos, Trav, and A5, but that's been my results so far.

Ber in one day, someone else gets 2 Scrolls of Town Portal :p), IF reinstalling the game had any effect whatsoever, that'd imply your drop odds aren't tied to your b.net account but to your local installation. You better believe that if that were the case, someone would've long since figured out how to tweak drop rates for instant drops of everything.
