Kurast Shields make an exceptional alternative for Exile instead of

Vortex Shield.

They pretty much provide the same average

Smite damage ( Kurast 10-82, Vortex 5-87 ) a 55% chance to block over 49 of Vortex and in addition they highly resemble the iconic

Herald Of Zakarum visually.

They do however have approximately 50 less base defence than their Vortex counterparts.
