Description

Furnace of Pain is accessed through a Portal to Furnace of Pain that is crafted with Recipe: Portal to Furnace of Pain whilst standing in Harrogath.

The area spawns Uber Izual as part of the Pandemonium Event.

The map resembles Plains of Despair.

Number of elite pack spawns:
Normal: 0 - 1
Nightmare: 1 - 2
Hell: 3 - 4

Boss: Uber Izual


(despite the game files stating the existence of elite packs in normal and nightmare difficulty, there is no way to access the Furnace of Pain outside of Hell difficulty)

The pit lords in this area are immune to everything except physical attacks.
Since they are demons, you can bind them as a warlock and gain an almost invincible companion.
