LK question

I ve been reading the rune farming guides and I am doing LK runs for high runes.
I understand that the chests there have limited specific drop patterns with increased high rune drop ratio.
What I am not sure about is if I still need to have high MF when doing the run, if I am only interested in the runes?
Do some of the "drop patterns" require you to be able to find magic/rare/unique/set items too, or is MF irrelevant?
I can push MF up above 400 with my gear, but I also try to farm base items for socketing at the same time in other areas so have set MF as low as I can ATM.

Super chests have fixed drops based on the game seed, MF has no effect

Magic find has no effect on the super chests themselves like Kakumba said. What i end up doing is add mf or remove it depending on what else im doing. Like if im popping armor/weapon racks for bases dont have mf gear on you. If you are jumping between regular farming like Chaos Sanctuary, i just leave that gear on because it saves time then switching between runs
