Hello!
I hope you're all doing well!
I have lots and lots of various grand, large, and small charms with a single or multiple affixes and looking to trade them but not sure which ones to trade or trash. Could use some help. Thank you in advance.

Can be used to make Runewords:

You can look at historical trades
price-check/
search the complete name of the charm like
Ruby small charm of vita
if you don't find many, try to search just the prefix
Ruby small charm
Or just the suffix
small charm of vita
No historical price is a good indication that probably has no much value...

Some affixes that people trade regularly
Prefix: resistances, mana, 1 skill tab (only grand charm), max + ar
Suffix: life, mf (only small charm), fhr, frw, % Gold
Prefix: resistances, mana, 1 skill tab (only grand charm), max + ar
Suffix: life, mf (only small charm), fhr, frw, % Gold
The value of these goes up a lot by having max rolls.
That's why, for instance the combination of 3 max damage, 20 AR, and 20 life is so valuable. Those are the "3 20 20" - they have their own name.
The other one is the "5 20" which represents 5 @ 20 Life.
The maximum mana you can get on small charms is 17. So 20 life + 17 mana is also very valuable.
Single res max value is 11. All res max value is 5. Magic find is 7. Keep these numbers in mind and you have an indication what could be worth something.
Basically any combination of the above mentioned affixes with max roll is very valuable but some are more valuable due to their wider applicability. 17 mana + 11 psn res for instance basically is only good for an ES (energie shield) Sorc.
The only elemental damage worth something is poison damage. It can even have poison damage on pre- and suffix. Thanks to the poison length being added as well, you will see the crazy number of 451 (over 12 seconds), which actually is not much more damage than the single affix 175 (over 6 seconds).
Some of those charms have even trade value with a single prefix if maxed rolled. You can trade 20 life small charms but 19 life charms are free. 175 poison damage you can trade as well.
Large charms are rarely valuable, because they take space for grand charms. They often can't be better than 2 small charms. For instance, the max rolls dor all res are: 5 (small charm), 8 (large), and 15 (grand).
Most traded grand chamrs are skillers, especially with added life (max value 45). But also often used are the skill + 12 fhr. For some classes, also skill + 7 frw.
Non-skiller grand charms usually are for non-casters, since they profit less from +skills. Additional, grand charms can have 10 max damage + 76 AR (from Steel affix), which is more than 3x 3-20 you could get from 3 small charms but you will get less life (45 instead of 3x 20). Therefore, Steel grand charms are valuable as well.
Other max values on grand charms you should know are 40 Gold find and 15 all res. If other adds are good, you can even trade with 13 or 14 all res, e.g when combined with 40+ life.
I probably forgot a lot but these should give you a 90% coverage.

Aren't Fire elemental damage and cold elemental damage useful for elemental Bowzons (and other builds that use "fire explosive arrows" items)?
(As the damage is added to the explosion damage)
I already sold a pure light dmg charm (whit high dmg) once, but my guess is that it was bought by a collector

Iirc this is a thing of the past, when e.g. fire damage from charms was applied to all enemies hit by the explosion. I think this was changes but I might be wrong.
And you are right, light damage is worth something, too, if you get a good roll. With pre and suffix you can get 2-99 light damage on a small charm. But 1-71 light damage + 20 life is more valuable.
AFAIK those are used by Conviction paladin and Dream sorc (due to light mastery), so they are not traded that much.

This currently works
It is still a common leveling strategy use a weapon like Raven Claw or Kuko Shakaku ans stack a lot of fire damage on equipment
