Trading stuff for in-game gold

There's tons of information here, so sorry if I missed it.

The question in the title - is it legal here? Or legal but meaningless for some reason? (I don't remember if I saw a one such trade here.)

Well, for me at my stage, gambling is still of interest, so I don't see anything wrong with asking for it if it's less valuable to someone than gems.
