You don't need to go through such trouble as to needing someone to hold the game for you.
Just open the party panel (by pressing P), and you can see the game name. Click on the eye icon, you can also see the password, which should be the same as the game name.
Take a screenshot and you have the game to rejoin.

Note the name, leave, rejoin, done. The game (assuming it was yours) doesn't just disappear after you leave unless you create or join a different game in the meantime. At least not for quite some time.

Bisu saved me some heartache. I had thought that the game name wouldn't work because it didn't used to back near launch (hadn't thought to try since), but then Bisu enlightened me and voila, success! A true hero
