I started playing Zeal Sorc and followed this guide ( https://d2.maxroll.gg/guides/zeal-sorceress ), but I wasn't really satisfied so I came up with some improvements (or things I perceive as improvements).
I wanted to come up with a gear set that would fit both Zeal sorc and Werebear sorc and to lesser degree Bow sorc. So you get at least 3 in 1 with this build. I also saw an opportunity in using Famine runeword (which is rarely used overall).
Build: https://d2.maxroll.gg/d2planner/0i0106ks#1 (there are few variants you can switch)
The base is dual Dream. The best shield is Tower Shield imo, because it has the highest chance to block.
The really important part is Death's Hand + Death's Guard that grand "Cannot be frozen", some resistances and 30 IAS. This frees up the ring slot, so it's not necessary to use Raven Frost. Thanks to that this character can use dual Stone of Jordan, which bumps max mana by a lot and adds some lightning damage (which is multiplied). Increase to max mana is important, because this character uses mana shield.
The next part is Ormus' Robes with +3 to Enchant . This character deals a lot elemental damage and Ormus' Robes increase all the sources of elemental damage by up to 15%. Mana regen is also nice. It is socketed with 15 IAS jewel to reach the breakpoint. Also +3 to Enchant is even more DPS, so Ormus' Robes synergize really nicely with this build. Also 40 FCR on swap for teleporting convenience.
For Werebear sorc the weapon is Beast (because of Fanaticism). If you want to stay in human form, then another good choice is Famine (lots of elemental damage) or good old Passion
Famine is also really good because it has Jah = ignore target defense, which makes that sorc actually hit mobs reliably. Berserker Axe has also a longer range than Passion Phase Blade
Effect? 145k DPS as Werebear, 144k DPS with Famine, 188k DPS with Zeal. Also, this build requires just a few items to be swapped if you want to play Werebear, Zeal, Famine or Bow sorc.
Let me know what you think and enjoy.
