Description

Raven Claw is an exceptionally powerful low level bow because of the splash damage provided by firing Explosive Arrows. It will become invalidated by more powerful options later in the game, but it will do a number on most enemies in Normal difficulty.

It is a preferred early game weapon for ranged
Enchant sorceresses and
Holy Fire paladins, as the fire damage is also added to the explosion's area of effect. Later it is replaced by
Demon Machine,
Kuko Shakaku or Brand.
It can be used as an early game levelling weapon, if a high level
Enchant sorceress is available. It is especially popular on Hardcore - high fire damage, combines with ranged and AoE attacks let any character safely get through Normal.

However, it is the weakest of all options because it lacks IAS, Piercing and has low increased damage.

If you ever intend to level up a paladin, keep this bow.
Combined with
Holy Fire and synergies you can farm normal /p8 tombs solo and it serves well until Nightmare
Chaos Sanctuary.
Kuko Shakaku is an optional replacement at level 33.

Also great for solo speedrushing to socket quest.
