Description

Highly lusted for in Diablo 1 for its special property of being a single-handed Great Sword,
The Grandfather returns with its theme of All Resistances and Life bonuses intact.

Although The Maximum Damage per Character Level builds up over time and it has a quite large bonus to Attack Rating, it was clearly more popular when it was still a single-handed sword in Patch 1.09, just like in its Diablo 1 glory days. Now, it is a quite slow sword that is lacking useful end game attributes like Deadly Strike. It gets full style points though and can be quite useful to a Mercenary.
