Description

Hi, i cant afford one yet but may be able to soon.
My question is about the distance needed between the merc and the mobs for the
Conviction
aura to break them. On a javazon for example, do you sometimes need to wait until the merc walk up close enough to the mobs? Or does it instantly apply to anything on your screen regardless of mercenary trailing behind?

Cheers

There is limited range. The range is not too bad but merc will need to be in same direction as mob, i.e. if merc is on your right, mobs on left will not have aura applied.

There also seems to be a slight delay in aura applying to mobs as they come in range, but not sure of mechanics of this, maybe a second or so...

Its not perfect but still makes life infinitely easier :)

The
Conviction
aura radius is fixed at 13.3 Yards, so yes, the merc needs to be in range.

with a javazon it works best with Enigma, you can
Teleport
to the mob (and your merc will also
Teleport
) and then run a bit away to throw javelins... Easy (but expensive) way to perfectly positioning your merc. If you play Java i would first make an Enigma before Infinity...

Add me if i win

This. Same for poison necro. Basically any build that relies on
Conviction
, you'll want to be a sorceress or have Enigma. I guess most characters want it anyways, but
Conviction
positioning is yet another reason.

Here are graphics to help visualize the range:
