The first waypoint in Act V is guaranteed to be located directly behind him up a flight of stairs, making him one of the easiest superunique monsters to find in the game. If a Diablo Clone spawns in your game (as revealed by the in-game message "Diablo walks the earth"), you can quickly and reliably force him to appear by running to Shenk.
