iis hammerdin only option 4 endgame nigma pally?

I have smiter nigma.

i have tesla din but i don't have nigma on him i just walk around and hit stuff till they die with a sword. it is quite fun.

Not at all.
Paladin was hella fun to play, from early game to end game. Enigma? who needs Enigma when you can Charge and Vigor around the darn place. At times it felt Teleport being slower, only bonus is that it can skip walls and rivers etc.
But to that end, you can have a swap for Teleport charged weapon. I used Teleport charged amulet until I got Enigma.

I can tell you right now; Enigma is not 100% required but it does make your life a lot nicer. Its QoL upgrade, but not needed to play the class.

Paladin can be played in so many ways, especially while youre making your way towards the endgame.

I played FOH pala at first and farmed CS a lot as its anyway my most favourite thing to do in the game for some weird reason. Its just where Ive had best luck so its what is grinded most.
Then swapped to hammerdin after the Enigma was obtained, but in a way for CS farming it felt like FOH was much more fun. Boss did die a lot faster with hammer.

A Dragondin cannot wear Enigma, since it needs a Dragon body armor but with Charge it is still mighty fast.

is Infinity good choice for merc?

You can run Zeal just fine with Enigma. You can also do foh/ Holy Bolt with Enigma.

The only place in the game that you need a different armor is uber/colossal.

Vengence isnt very good right now but im sure it works just as well or badly with enimga

For Holy Fire, Holy Shock or FoH? Yes.
For Hammerdin or Smiter? Nope. Their merc rather goes for Insight (Hammerdin) or Pride/Reaper's Toll(Smiter)
