Speaking of Herald, would its defense and hp pool be good enough to tank as well as say hephesto?
Im not expecting the Herald to deal lister type of dmg, but if it can tank as good as hephesto, i myself will try to bind one… knowing each Herald you kill increases the difficulty of the next one, so is that mean if you bind a 5th or higher Herald, would its level be extremely high?

Still haven't seen any proper Herald stats anywhere but just looking at how long it takes to kill them, they should definitely be able to out-tank heph. Especially the higher tiers. I was one shotted by a "Infidel" type enemy T3 Herald of Fear and lost my Conviction / cursed Heph.
I spent an entire hour to get one back on a very good map (Single player).
And didn't got a chance at T4, sadly.

Um so the binding seems fake because i spammed Bind Demon moat tricking the same flayer for about 10 minutes and Um estimating at around 100 attempts with 20% chance to bind the chance to not get it would be (4/5)^100=0.000000020370359763344860862684456884094% chance of happening got some screenshots for it that's all.Still all speculation unless there is some certain different strategy that does bind it

Someone did experiment on this and it is fail.
What he do: find exactly same Herald and binding from possible hp to even second phase. This test spend him 2 days.
That I think he proof one thing, Herald cannot bind in phase 1.
Phase 2 will change status and he havent success do it. If something possible, it is here.

I found that if you position your character so that the Herald was in the bottom left corner of the screen it wouldnt ago on me and would just stand there while i tried to bind it. at first i was going back to town and getting mana potions since i didnt have any merc for Insight. but then i had my alt account stand behind me with the Insight and setup a macro to continuously cast the Bind Demon. it went on for quite a while. id have to say 200-300 times. the Herald had 1 tiny sliver of life left.
It never bound and i gave up.
