Insight is the best Warlock weapon for Echoing Strike

How are you getting might and

Conviction on the same demon?

It can spawn with one, naturally.
And if it doesn't, lvl 20+ bind can give it one.
But if it already has an aura, lvl 20+ bind does nothing to add a 2nd one (or at least it never has for me, in countless tests).

So you'd need a mob with double aura-enchanted off the bat which if I recall correctly doesn't traditionally exist.
Heralds might possibly be an exception (haven't looked into that yet) but from my testing, you can't bind those.
Off the top of my head, I suppose it could be a possibility if the new TZ enchantments can roll aura enchanted as well, haven't looked into what exactly the options are there, but I have yet to see it happen.

Holy Freeze for might. i was just saying that stacking multiple auras is possible between the demon and the merc. though with the use of the new auto mod from terrror zones you can get a pretty nasty demon that has two immunities plus curse plus aura. but i thought i saw double aura on reddit but maybe i misread

I will also add that after some more testing

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense! It works the other way around when you face enemies with damage aura + cursed - you pretty much get instantly cursed as soon as you step inside the range of their aura (well, as soon as it "pulses" while you're within range).

You don't need the pulse for that.

Heph with cursed + fana or whatever non-pulse aura also amps the entire screen pretty much instantly every time. Anything hitting your bound demon procs a blanket amp so really no wait there.

Terror zones naked with Wirts Leg, the skill is pretty OP. try using an ethereal

Colossus Voulge, it slaps.

I wouldn't use Grief on any character that wields a 2H weapon anyways.

To the best of my recollection BotD, Death, upgraded

Ribcracker beats Grief on damage in this case (someone clarify or correct me if I'm wrong there). Plus the CB & Deadly Strike from the latter two, plus the FHR & IAS from the latter.

Mirrored Blades and

Cleave (with enough skill points) seem to slap with

Ribcracker and Gface on the Eldritch build I'm using right now.

Cleave has some powerful short range AoE. Using

Hephasto the Armorer with

Fanaticism Aura and

Prayer+Insight+Cure merc.

I tried clearing Ubers while using a Insight

Cryptic Axe + Spirit, and I have to say compared to Death

Decapitator + Phoenix it seems the clear speed is higher.
With Insight+Spirit Shield I am able to easily reach the 125fcr breakpoint, and the fast attacks seem to more than make up for the loss of raw dmg.

Was using merc with Might+

Conviction and Hephasto with Cursed+

Fanaticism

Ubers melted in seconds.

This is insane taking into account the easiness of obtaining these items!

noice!!! thanks for the info. haven't even tried to hit the higher breakpoint. what other gear are u using? ubers vs keyruns gear? i'm using FCR rings with leech. i want to keep

Laying of Hands for the dmg to demons. would use Fortitude for ubers that would put me over 125 FCR, using enimga for keyruns.

edit: i just check every char, i have prolly over 30 Spirit shields on all my chars and not one with 35% FCR, several 34s. if i had a 35 i could switch out a FCR ring for a BK ring. i'm over the 125% FCR. he's wicked fast. very nice with teleing.

Yeah we are all experimenting right now, even knowing Blizzard might nerf this build soon:P

Funnily enough the only swap I do on doing Ubers vs Keys is the

Boots, i Swap War Travelers for Gore Riders (for the Deadly Strike).

Arachnid Mesh, and you have reach 125fcr breakpoint as long Spirit is above 30fcr. For the rest i was using highlord, Soj, BK, Enigma.

Seems like a ladder starter build which is killer, considering other than Enigma all the gear is cheap.

Yes, either go for 17+6 or whatever+whatever and max %ED.

The difference between 4,5 or 6 crit is negligible because that's like a single percent or two after +Allskills to it.

I rolled an Insight in 12%ed base at 272% ed, 4 crit, 16 med in 5 tries.

I am currently planning a Warlock for me and my two sons by considering the items I already have (I will not buy overpriced items, and I have at least 3/6 of everything listed below available.). We currently have 7

Colossus Voulge and therefore I think we will use those with Insight (I also have a non-

Eth. sup with 15 ED ). My youngest son might want to make a fire build and therefore would get my

Mang Song's Lesson. When they fix the "

Eth. bug" we loose nearly nothing (because the runes are cheap and you can still use it on a Merc) and until then it seems we have a nice weapon base. I also have 2

Eth.

Decapitator which I could use for Death. But since it is not clear how things might turn out and we also would loose FCR, I rather wait until the dust settles

Here are some question for the Insight wielder:

Do you still have to have a source of mana leech when using Insight?
Do you reach the 125 FCR and with which items?
Is it worth making a Pride for the Mercs or what do you use? (I currently have exactly 3

For the Armor an Enigma in

Mage Plate.
For the

Boots we have

Gore Rider,

War Traveler or

Aldur's Advance with 49-50 FR available
For weapon swap we have a 4/4/X Call To Arms + Spirit
For the inventory we have SC/LC/GC with RES and ARES to get at least some resistances, an "old"

Bone Break with +11 PDRI (a 20 AR

Annihilus is also available, Torch and some Skiller will come later )

Any suggestions or other ideas?
