Description

Apocalypse
It is a massive aoe Fire skill with a short casting delay.

It rolls its damage just once for each cast and all the monsters in the circle take the same damage, which might be mitigated by different resistances on different monsters in the circle, of course. So, it is not rolled independently for each monster.

Take note, Apocalypse will NOT harm monsters standing inside the circle when they are blocked by walls, pillars etc. and can't see the center of Apocalypse's circle.

It can Pierce resistances but the reduced fire resistance of the monsters only applies to this spell and not to other fire spells: Flame Wave, Ring of Fire).

-% Enemy Fire Resistance is capped at -40, achieved at level 36.

Please note, the -% Enemy Fire Resistance gets divided by 5 if the affected monster's immunity was broken by a fire sunder ( Flame Rift).

Here you see Apocalypse evaporating a bunch of cows.

The whole circle does damage, not just the lines of the pentragram. So the damage is very reliable, unlike Blizzard.

Apocalypse is capable of piercing immunities to fire if the skills -fire resistance% would lower any enemies resistance enough.

Apocalypse is massive and works over most obstacles like chests, bushes, water etc. It can also work through walls if you send a demon over the wall with Death Mark.
I noticed that I couldn't put down Apocalypse over certain walls or slopes in Act 5 Frigid Highlands. However, if I sent my demon over to the other side of the wall/slope I could put down Apocalypse at that location.
Basically the demon is a stand in for you.

For tough monsters with lots of HP, assuming that you can stand still and tank their damage:
1. Apocalypse
2. Sigil Lethargy (will last 10+ seconds with some +skills)
3. 2x Flame Wave
4. Apocalypse
5. 2x Flame Wave and so on
Recast Sigil Lethargy if necessary
