People keep overbidding themselves at traderie to buy an unidentified one I have listed...
If history is any indication, it doesn't change.
Even when items did change in the past, stats of existing ones generally preserved the old functionality and only new drops got updated stats. (With minor exceptions)
What's possible is that the grail thing does work retroactively just by IDing an old one and folks are looking to rush through that. Mang Song's is a fairly rare drop after all. No clue if that's really the case though, haven't tried yet.
Or maybe it did change and they're assuming your listing is for a new drop...who knows.

Possible I guess, if you go the fire route. It was already pretty near the top for a fire sorc after all, despite her needing both hands. ^^
Are they very fragile? I've been informed by system twice today Herald spawned and i was looking for them in the entire map (once in WSK lvl3 second in Chaos) but couldn't find them at all - I'm using Dragon paly, not sure if they died like the other White mobs even before I see them :/
The first three or four were quite fragile, like your usual Unique monster, I'd say... but they got increasingly tankier, I've encountered some which feel like fighting an Act Boss, in terms of health. But even more dangerous: Concentration + Fanaticism + Cursed or Extra Strong. And if your TZ got, say, the Extra Fast modifier, they can be pretty scary
I'm playing a Lvl 96 Hammerdin on /players7, about 9k dmg (not the best gear on Single Player).
EDIT: also, just to be 100% clear: there are TWO different game messages. The first one says the Herald "is en route" or something to that effect, that's just a first announcement. Then after your keep playing TZs and killing Uniques/Champions the second message says "A Herald is chasing you in *AREA*" (usually the area you're in) -- that's when they spawn close to you, one or two screens away.
Thanks, I overlooked, Gold is fine, they changed the way they display now, now it's just the transferring of items between LoD and RoW's shared tabs are irritating(especially if you have multiple torches/Annihilus), other than that I'm very happy with most of the changes so far. :/
Aye, the Gold for each shared stash tab got combined into one big pool, rather than each page getting its own Gold.
Makes it a bit more convenient.

Just encountered mine in Tal Rasha tomb just now - Apparently it has 2 phases :1)Saying you got Herald's attention or something. 2)Saying Herald is chasing after you in the tz, and that's when they spawn 1 or 2 screen away from you. Mine also has aura, so it makes finding them easier it dropped the new basic warlock set Belt for me just now :/

I tried this out and I don't think the Compendium works retroactively. I joined a cow game that had already started and there were a few unid set and unique items on the Ground. I picked them up and they did not have the "Eligible for Compendium" text. I identified them anyways and they did not display the special graphic nor did they get added to my Compendium.
Will buy any 3 minor keys for an Ist - message me.
Will accept statues and keys instead of rune payments for my trades.
Now who doesn't want a sturdy Old Book of self-repair. Nevermind its contents, that's just amazing!
