Experiment setup:
- Weapon setup 1: Lawbringer in an ethereal Cryptic Sword, plus a non-upped, non-ethereal Headstriker
- Weapon setup 2: 2x Strength runeword in 2x Phase Blade
Course of experiment:
- Kill Diablo on players 5 in Hell (non-TZ)
- main character does NOTHING at all except give potions to the merc
Result (sample size 1 only for each) :
- Weapon setup 1: 2:00 minutes killing time
- Weapon setup 2: 1:35 minutes killing time
- (in setup 2, it -felt- like more potions were needed, but maybe Diablo also just hit a bit harder)
=> So that was interesting! I wanted to see if a budget-budget setup like 2x Strength would actually be quicker vs. bosses, and it seems it is. The added crushing blow from 2x Strength seems to do the trick.
