Description

Although used in several worthwhile Runewords (e.g. Infinity, Last Wish, and Oath),
Mal runes are value-limited by the simple fact that two Mals can be transmuted into the de facto trading currency of Diablo II: the
Ist rune.

Moreover, because of the inherent usefulness of
Um runes by comparison, most players would not transmute 2 Ums into a
Mal. Instead, players will usually trade an
Um +
Pul to obtain a
Mal.

Edit : mod update 2024 -
Mal tends to have a price really close to
Ist now.
