Best skillers for Dream/Dragon pala?

Hey guys,

I have recently made Dream paladin. So far I am leveling and havent paid too much attention to charms, I just equip some random resists charms I had.

My question is which skillers are suppose to be worthy for pala?

My build is:
resists lighting, Salvation and Conviction maxed
Zeal with its synergy Sacrifice will be maxed as long as I level up
1point into Holy Shield

Holy Shock aura dmg isnt displayed anywhere, when I check normal attack (with added light dmg) and remove highlord my dmg is same (minus 1-30lighting provided by highlord) so it seems +offensive auras (or +skills) has no impact on Holy Shock dmg.

Is it Holy Shock dmg (added to weapon) displayed correctly?
My dmg with Bloodmoon sword is 666-935 with Holy Shock its 667 - 7940
No weapon 55-7112 - that seems right

but we all know those numbers cannot be 100% trusted (Grief dmg displayed).

Does +offensive skills works with it?

if not I assume it would be best to get combat skillers because I use 2skills - Zeal and Holy Shield.

is my assumption correct?

2nd question I guess all stated regarding Dream works same with Dragon?

But for a Dream pally it’s all about the synergies to Holy Shock, for those only hard points contribute, so I bet the bonus from off/def aura skillers isn’t as important as combat skills, which boosts Zeal and Holy Shield.

At least that’s my 2 cents. Others may be more knowledgeable

Yes, and no.

Yes, combat skillers give extra def (or % block) from Holy Shield and extra AR and dmg to Zeal.
No, the extra defense is not worth spending 3 inventory slots on.
No, the AR is mostly meaningless as your weapon has ignore target defense and what little AR Zeal gives you is still, well, shit.

One of the great things about aura paladins is that they have (almost) zero use for skillers. Run on empty, run with MF small charms, run with your choice of anything!

P.S. Offensive and Defensive aura skillers are not giving you any benefits whatsoever except for +1 point into Conviction, if you are below 25 total.

You simply don't use any skiller.

true that, forgot about that Grief has it.

My AR hit chance has been around 40-60% through entire game, I just killed hell Baal. And my hit chance vs average mob is about 60-70%. With enough dex for to get 75% block with 1 skill point and maxed Zeal I am 55% hit chance vs Baal. its final boss so its OK. - at lvl 80 I have 143hard points into dexterity.

So I havent thought about totally skipping it and max Holy Shield and more points into vita.

I even maxed Conviction because I respec at lvl 65 so I am above lvl 23/24.

So at lvl 78/79 this build can be "maxed" where else to spend remaining skill points?

I am honestly thinking to max fire resists, so if and when I make full Dragon build I can just swap gear on single character as I like without any penalty on 1 character. as benefit I would get 85fire res and 90light res which just looks nice.

But if I wasnt do that. I still have about 20skill points to spend maybe max Defiance to get extra defense? Imho that can be best choice.

I used shield (self found) Akaran Targe with 45all res. So my Smite dmg would be low. And I already have dedicated smiter for ubers.


I would need 32+IAS on Grief (phaseblade) with 40IAS on highlord and gloves to reach best frames

One more question: is there any alternative for gloves instead of Layng of hands? It boosts dmg to demon, but as you said above its boosting 600dmg (will be Grief at some point) but compare to lighting/fire dmg its insignificant. And 50fire res I really dont need, because my fire res is at 245% atm.
Is there any alternative? while browsing this website: trade/rare-heavy-gloves-with-ias-20-dex ... 71564.html seems nice ( Pul will be cheapest 14MF I ever paid for) or those trade/rare-gloves-t1266297.html

Belt I assume String of Ears / verdungo or if unlucky with 32IAS on Grief just any with 10IAS.

With Grief in hand your best bet is using Laying of Hands. You could use any other 20% IAS gloves but the 350% damage to demons is monumental with Grief.

With full Dragon build and Hand of Justice instead of Grief in hand, swap the Laying of Hands for any 20% IAS gloves of your preference.

Hi, congrats on the Tesladin you made. Two suggestions: for gloves LoH is basically BiS, but if you wanna change it up a bit I would say blood-crafted gloves with 20ias, 10% CrushingB, 3 LL, 10+ Life and some Resistances or MF could be OP as well, although maybe a little expensive if you wanna buy them. Maybe you should try craft them? And for Belt, those are good options, maybe Arachs once you made Enigma for higher Caster Rate or Upped Goldwrap for IAS and MF. Once in the Endgame use 10 Max Dmg, AR, Life GC’s. Or 7 FRW, 10 Max Dmg GC’s are also useful or Small Charms with MF and useful Mods? Your choice m8. Happy hunting
