Description
Venom, with its puzzling lack of Enhanced Damage, is one of the worst uses of a Mal Rune in the game. By level 49, the 273 poison damage offered by this weapon is completely insignificant. The attributes of this weapon are ostensibly synergistic with Poison Dagger, but even that use case seems ridiculous when compared to the benefits offered by Plague.

Venom is one of the least used runewords in the game. It has very little to offer for the price of Mal rune and is severely outclassed by other runewords.
This runeword provides low benefits for the price of Mal. However, Mal can be obtained easily enough, while Cham in Plague will take much more time.
Also can be crafted on bows, where the Hit Cause Monster To Flee 25% and the poison damage becomes more interesting than on a melee weapon.
