I have researched this but want to check with the d2io collective before dropping the runes.

Does Berserk offhand still affect attack speed? Ideally I would Ist a Crystal Sword so my sorc could use it, but will use Phase Blade if necessary. Thank you

Yeah, it does make a difference. The PB has a higher base speed and is preferable if you're min-maxing.
Though I personally have a Ber-socketed Stormshield on my trav zerker, because at a certain point, the number of uniques you wouldn't mind finding shrinks to a tiny number, and added kill speed from better survivability becomes oh so much more important.

That’s a good point, I might go that route. He is not wandering far out of Travincal anyway. Already have a non ladder Ist’d PB, so was not really wanting to make a second.
