I'm pretty sure they both make decent bases for Flickering Flame. But since I'm far from a Druid expert, I'm not sure how sought after these may be or what they might be worth. Any ideas? (Softcore, Ladder.)

As far as I know Flickering Flame is pretty much best in slot for a Fire Claws druid as well (see for example this guide), which is why I'm assuming the second one might have some value.
You are right I forgot about fire claw druid. But with only +3 to Fire Claws it still has not much value. I went through price history for a few pelts and the only one with +3 Fire Claws I found was sold for 2 Perfect Gems: pricecheck.php?item=1514
The first pelt seems to be ~Ist from the trades I've seen.
Fissure is the main skill for AOE dmg while farming.
Other fire druid skills are used based on the situation. Firestorm is for Single Target. Molten Boulder + Volcano are for Fire immu because they have Physical dmg. Armageddon, you cast it every 50 sec.
