Blocking another user from seeing my account?

heelo i am wondering if there is a way to block another user from viewing my accout?

No. Is another user harassing you? If they are just report their PMs.

No but I am thinking of developing a 'squelch' feature that will allow you to add someone to your 'squelch list' and their comments would from then on be invisible on your trades to everyone but themselves. I think the modern term for this is shadow banning?

On the flipside of this I could also allow people to make a trade visible to a list of friends only etc. as has been requested before @

Would the opposite of this be possible also @Teebling? I've noticed a few times searching for items that some people kind of spam. I hesitate to report them since technically they are posting under different item names, but it would be nice to be able to hide their trades.

For one example, someone selling assorted pgems list the same trade under

Perfect Gems,

Perfect Amethyst,

Perfect Topaz,

Perfect Ruby,

Perfect Sapphire,

Perfect Emerald, etc... I search for "Perfect" because I want to see all the different trades for all those things, but it just gets flooded by the same person's multiple trades of the same items. =\

Yeah you'll be able to ignore those person's trades and comments completely, everywhere on the site.

really? Thats not good. thats basically cheating the system right now. Bleh, people suck. Hopefully the new trade patch will take care of issues like people abusing the system.
