As i know, this cursed demon cannot be bound with 1 HP in Bind Demon.
And maan. Since my respec into full Bind Demon, i cannot catch a good one. I d run Hephasto like 150 Times without one lightning enchanted and cursed. I got one good lancer but lost her for a way worse lancer not be able to proc curse. When i just used my 15 HP Curse Proccer Demons, i ve never had to hunt for so long.
White trash mobs keep the TZ modifier, that is how we catch Cursed or Stoneskin (thus immune to physiocal) Urdars etc on all of our warlock characters: all of them have a single hard point in Bind Demon and if needed, we use grand charms to reach 20 when binding to get an aura. Re-bind one-by-one until it gets an aura you like. You are either lucky and get the proper TZ modifier in a random TZ96 game you join, or you keep restarting your game until you get the modifier and then use a shard to terrorize the area you want (for Urdars we check if they are there in River of Flame before sharding).
Wtf...i was sure its not possible that White demons keep their tz modifiers.
Further i maybe deleted like 50 to 60 shards unnecessarily. I always used them before the hunt^^
Glad that i ve replied you. Now i ve some room of improvement on my builds and hunting is much less costly.
Actually, it was my understanding that White mobs are the only ones that reliably bind with a *functional* Tz affix. Champions don't have them and unique pack leaders don't get the affix unless they randomly roll it. I believe there were reports that unique pack White mobs bind with the Tz affix, but that it didn't always work, e.g., Cursed not proccing Amp Dam at all despite the unsummon hover-over showing the bound demon as Cursed.

Yes, it works quite well. You may need to skip/kill the ones you already spawned - I don't think they are affected by sharding afterwards, although we never actually checked (for Urdars, we go from the other side: check if they are there from River of Flame, go back to town and shard, then go from City of the Damned - down the stairs next to the Waypoint).

I would not be surprised if not cursing could happen sometimes due to a bug. We have multiple Cursed demons bound with only 1 hard point in Bind Demon and they all curse, just rarely now because of the patch. For the Hellclan, Vigor aura makes him zoom around so fast that he actually curses more frequently than the Holy Freeze/Cursed Urdar on our other Warlock. Although the latter character kills so fast (Mirrored Blades with Mist bow and Bane + max all synergies) that I think the Urdar gets fewer hits/procs than the Hellclan on the Abyss Warlock...

Yes, he was a pleasant suprise. I bound the first guy after a respec and he is not only very good but also makes the Abyss/Chain Lock run so much faster that we kept him. We have several Enigmas, but this Lock uses Vipermagi (Blade Warp and Death Mark work fine) because we had enough of using the same standard meta gear pieces on all characters (that's why we use Voodoo heads on our Necromancers instead of Spirit: fits the Lore and much better vibe).

Ok , poke(de)mon hunters, here's the rub with these rainbow megademons...
Since the Chaos tree just got a huge nitro-boost, I have chosen to not go with heavy hitting demons like Heph and List anymore. Instead, I hunt these rainbow devils that run around in The Pandemonium Event. They not only act like immortal elemental shields but they just look badass, what, with their hand-and-a-half, serrated ricasso uber swords, breathing fire and all. But here's what I've found out over the weeks; they are really weak at dealing damage so auras like fana and Concentration are pretty useless and cursed rarely ever procs unless you luck into landing one with Holy Freeze. So, at least for my build, I prefer one of these guys with Holy Freeze but you might have to eat a dozen or so to get the aura you want but here's the awesome thing about these guys, they spawn eternally until you get the one you want (in Uber Tristram anyway).
These guys can spawn in Uber Tristram and/or the Furnace of Pain. They don't always spawn in the furnace but they always spawn off of Uber Diablo and the great thing is you only need 1 point in bind to bind one and 20 soft at the time of binding to spawn with an aura. But here's a few differences between the 2 areas...
Furnace of Pain - Pit Lords not 100% to spawn and if they spawn around a super unique (also bindable but with 20 hard points), their title will have "minion" in it and those require 10 hard points to bind since they're treated like some kind of crypto-champion or something.
Uber Tristram - 100% chance of rainbow devils and they spawn ad infinitum from Uber Diablo so all you have to do is isolate one at a time (after killing Uber Baal and Meph) and treat them like an Uber Buffet until you get the one you want.
So, with all that said, I had Black Maw from The Furnace of Pain for dinner and went into UT and grabbed this guy with Holy Freeze. Couple that HF aura with Lethargy and my A1 Merc slinging cold Arrows all over the place and stuff comes to a screeching halt. That especially comes in handy up on the summit with the ancients.
I was able to bind him with 1 hard point in bind and 20 soft from equipment + skillers. Now, even maxed out on bolt, chains and Abyss ( plus prereqs, 1 hard in lethargy, 4 hard in Bind just to always have 20 total and 10 hard in mastery for max demons), I have 22 points left that will probably all go into Consume to boost max life and duration. I've had to burn a few tokens testing all of this out and I think my build is pretty solid now.
Unfortunately, these guys are pretty weak at dealing physical damage but they run interference flawlessly so my abysslock can absolutely lay down the Smoke. Ubers and Ancients only last a few minutes now
