Iron golem persistence

since i switched from Mist to Windforce, have sundy and 9+9 total physical reduction now, I'm considering an alternative to Atma's..
and the deranged mind keeps returning to the persistent idea of making a golem out of Pride for the aura i'm so dearly missing
is there a chance to make the golem survivable with bowazon or shall i forget the crazy idea??
p.s. merc is still rogue with Faith and valk still is the perfect tank

What about switching Mist to merc (it's better for merc anyways imo, 100% Pierce and more res ^^) and testing Mania on Iron Golem before jumping to Pride? Better to lose Ko than Cham Sur Lo

Edit * oops ur non-ladder still Beast would be cheaper on Iron Golem than Pride i think

these things die like flies

allegedly it has more hp than a Valkyrie, but valk face tanks a t5 lister Herald pack with a smile, and the golem dies to a random Skeleton in act 2

yesterday a t2 pack of poison skeletons spawned, the Herald had Holy Freeze.. and it actually killed the golem. since it's immune to poison, it really died to the Holy Freeze ticks

what's wrong with it??

In Lord of Destruction, iron golems have 980 hitpoints regardless of their level. I didn't find any relevant changes in the patchnotes, and it still feels correct. Here's an old calculator that's accurate for LoD https://tph.itp.tuwien.ac.at/~gottwald/ ... lator.html

In my experience iron golems are squishy enough with level 50 Golem Mastery, while using Dim Vision / Attract.

With some levels in Blood Golem beforehand it gets more Health, thats the synergy it gets, but each level you increese in Blood Golem does not make the HP increese retroactivly, it only snapshots the HP at the current level you made the Iron Golem from the Item, so if you gaind 3 levels and put em in Blood Golem then make a new Iron Golem you would have more HP on your golem.

Unless you are using a weapon with Charges then you probably cant gain HP from Blood Golem since ur not a Necro idk what you play.

PS. I am going to try Make Iron Golem With Ethereal Doom Thresher runeword, but I have some levels in Blood Golem and are on a Necro. with alot of other shit that can face-tank as well.

might hurt my re-summoning of skeles a bit or alot when monsters break in Ice chunks but it gives a nice slow + dmg crowd controll for the remaning army + Merc.

this site says 8k life at lvl 20. but 1k seems much more like the truth..

i'm fooling around with dragondin and Metalgrid. golem's life expectancy is about 5 minutes. basically a way to dump all the gear you would otherwise throw away
