BotD Fendzon > Dream Paladin
Not to say the latter is bad, but the former is more enjoyable for me with way better survivability. BotD leech is insane with Fend.

What base do you have the BotD in for your zon?
I'm using Matriarchal Spear for better average but I'd like to try Ghost Spear.
Currently running Enigma over Fortitude but may switch it out next Baal essence I get.

It seems like a popular choice. I don’t think IAS matters too much. I know when I drop below the 113% BP, I barely notice. I had my A5 merc use Mania for a bit but it didn’t seem to add much.
Wondering because I need to make a BotD for the Chron at some point. I've got Eth 6 os Ogre Maul, but also have Eth Ghost Spear, War Pike and mat Pike with no sockets. not sure which one to eventually use. I know berzerker Axe is probably the best resell value, but that Ghost Spear could be used for merc, zon, or barb....
hmm how about amazon provocation?
Lightning Strike > Strafe > Ice maiden > Lightning Fury > Plague Javelin > fire zon > Fend/ Impale zon (with botd in a Matriarchal Pike)
maybe you can Impale the ubers with the latter but she's so damn slow, especially when cursed with Decrepify or chilled with Holy Freeze..

In LoD, I did a Zealadin with eBOTD Ogre Maul. I thought it was a great build. Although once you're done with it, it probably doesn't have a great resell value.

I have an alt setup for my Bowazon where I get 160% IAS with Silence runeword on a Crusader Bow (superior, 15% ED). Obviously it's not better than Windforce or Faith, but it blinds everyone and makes monsters run away in fear, which is useful vs those lightning ghosts in Great Marsh or Worldstone Keep. Not to mention the +75 to all resistances. Really cool bow to try on and the damage is decent.
Always wanted to try Silence in a bow, wish it had just a lil more ED. Yep, you definitely need Laying of Hands and Crushing Blow to compensate for that. You can't rely on the raw damage alone. Still pretty fun and a classic option.
