I only discovered this in the last 24 hours, but others I spoke to since were not aware of it either, so thought I would post this to save you all some time/bother.
If you are trading with someone, it doesn’t matter which server (US / Eu / Asia) you are signed into. If you host a game wherever you are, you can send an invite to friends - and even if they are signed into the other servers - they will still be able to join your game.
Saves you logging out and trying to match their server.
Not sure if this was always the case or a recent change.

It was always the case as far as I know. I take advantage of it a lot, and I’ve tought many people about it over the years

I believe it was the case pre ROTW, but then when ROTW hit it was broken for some time. Is it working again?
Well, I’ve been taking advantage of it at least since season 4 or 5, maybe longer (can’t remember exactly at this point). I’m fairly sure it was a launch feature but that only few people knew about originally.
Also, it wasn’t actually RoTW that initially broke it - it broke back in December 2025 IIRC, with a mini-patch (without patch notes) that was supposedly just a backend/server fix of some sort. At first you had to be the exact same level as the inviter/joinee, and it wasn’t completely broken, there was a functioning workaround, so it was sort of… half broken? RoTW made it worse though by breaking it completely. (until they finally fixed it)
So yes, it works again, since patch 3.2.

More than half the traders I come across on this site don't know this either. It's rather hidden unless you check settings and realize you can set your games to joinable by friends.
All trades are negotiable within reason Check out my "Free Stuff" tab for...FREE STUFF! I can help with DClone/Ubers/Ancients/Socket Rushes, just ask! Please only add me on bnet if you contact me here first.
Yeah its given that as long as they r on ur bnet friend list, by default they should be able to join ur game regardless which server u currently signed in, however, there were some cases in which this cross-trading is broken and I had to match the user server in order to join his/her game.. alittle bit of inconvenient but it is what it is
