Useless?! Blasphemy!
Physical bowazons are among the most fun characters in the game!
Unless you only play on high player counts, a phys bowazon hardly needs more than the skills themselves and a good dual leech source.
A built strafezon with
Atma
's can definitely clear areas in higher player count games too.
Take any and all free points and just shove em into Dexterity which directly increases damage done. Vitality? Pshh... just don't get hit- duh!

I personally enjoy multishot more and hit the 147 BP without Faith thanks to jewellers' armor and
Helm
. Shreds all content P1.

strafezon is my best
Herald
hunter, beats
Fireball
sorc, icemaiden, self wield Infinity and
Lightning Fury

60 points into bow skills, 20 points into valk (almost immortal tank), rest into passives
Windforce
with uber jewel,
Diadem
with ias and ed, Enigma,
Razortail
, 2x ravenfrost (maybe replace one with bul katos),
Atma's Scarab
,
War Traveler
,
Laying of Hands
(replace with e.g.
Lava Gout
for tombs and cows). merc rogue with Faith. Chains of Honor,
Andariel's Visage
. you generally don't need Fortitude but can put it on from time to time to increase dps even further

fill stash with as many +max dmg+attack rating charms as you want.
Bone Break
with - physical res helps a lot

like i said, combination of damage output and safety through
Valkyrie
is unrivaled

I agree with both posts above.

1) It is fun to play. Probably the coolest ranged char.

2) Gear is usually cheap, unless you are looking for crazy equipment like Faith+Fortitude, which is overkill.
Windforce
with
Laying of Hands
and
Guillaume's Face
is a great combination and not expensive.

The bow you mentioned, Lycanders, is very good for most purposes, but I think you'd be better off using Goldstrike /
Eaglehorn
/
Windforce
if the bowazom is purely physical.

Lycanders is better suited for elemental
Arrows
, in my opinion.

"Crazy equpment overkill here!" I use a Faith+Fortitude, and just for good measure a
Windforce
on swap, but in my defense I have found 7
Windforce
bows over the last 5 years. I get a lot of use out of this video, but it is easier to show than try to explain.

add 1 infinty onto merc....?
7
Infinity won't do her any good. there are following possibilities

1) if zon carries Faith, then merc shall be either rogue with Mist or emilio with Pride
2) if zon carries
Windforce
or Mist, merc shall be rogue with Faith

In terms of gameplay, bowazon is one of the best builds in the game. She's one of my stronger
Herald
hunters! ("strong" does mean: safe and effective)

I have two bowas, and I will make a third. None of them does wear Enigma. ;-)

Strafe
/
Multiple Shot
/
Freezing Arrow
hybrid is my fav.

For low items I also accept: Perfect Amys,
Ral
,
Hel
, Tokens, Keys. Please don't offer runes lower than
Pul
(with the named exceptions).

What is your hybrid Bowazon build and gear? I want to do a bowazon with
Freezing Arrow
, but I’m afraid she will be too slow vs pure physical or vs other builds.

This build is used on /P1 to /P3:

Attributes:
STR 50 (108)
DEX 375 (432)
VIT 120 (169)
ENG 15 (65)

Skills:
Freezing Arrow
,
Cold Arrow
,
Strafe
,
Guided Arrow
maxed.
Critical Strike
8 pts,
Pierce
4 pts,
Dodge
/Avoid/
Evade
/
Slow Missiles
1 pt. Remaining into
Multiple Shot
.

Gear:
Faith GMB + Ice MB
Hysteria
Wisdom
2/20 gloves
M'avina's Tenet

2x 10 FCR leech/resist/damage/dex etc. rings
Atma's Scarab

War Traveler

Mix of AR/maxdam and skiller charms.
Torch, Anni, no Sunder.

Barbarian merc is wearing Fortitude,
Andariel's Visage
, Plague and Last Wish.

She is level 94 now and her damage is 5.5k physical, 62% Crit, AR 24k and 2.5 k cold. That's more than enough for solo play.
110% faster run/walk, maxed resists except cold.

Very fun to play!

For low items I also accept: Perfect Amys,
Ral
,
Hel
, Tokens, Keys. Please don't offer runes lower than
Pul

Not cheap but worth it. It's my favorite to play. This was P1 with Harmony on switch.

Nice to see different variants of the same build. I am using Enigma,
Atma
, Faith,
Carrion Wind
and different type of rare socketed
Circlet
Max dmg instead of ED. All charms in stash are Max dmg/AR/FRW. Would be nice to compare these two.

I've never used Enigma on this build just focused on having really high FRW. With the terrible FCR on the zon I'm under the impression that Enigma is not a great choice for physbowa. Fort is really nice. I need to try a build with Treachery and a build with 4os magic armor with 4 ias jewels to see how those play.

Atma
's can be good at higher player counts but on P1 it's pointless because everything dies before it ever procs. When using
Atma
's I use Hustle/Mania on switch to make up for the 20% IAS loss.

I've used
Carrion Wind
before. It's fun procing the twisters but ultimately doesn't come close to being as good as the rare ring I have or the rare ring I used before I got this one.

The ED on the
Helm
really has little impact on damage. The 45 IAS is the primary benefit.

I started with fort, had nice numbers of dmg but in the end the extra damage didnt make much difference. On the other hand extra FRW and the possibility to tp through a wall makes a lot of difference. I got more than +150% FRW, Harmony on swap same as you, do you have more than 150%? In catacombs or
Tal Rasha
or any other place with walls, sometimes even the slowest TP through the wall is faster than the fastest run around :D extra MF and + 2 skills are also not that bad, especially when you wrote that you kill everything before
Atma
procs, why not a little less dmg but better everything else?

Atma
is not pointless even on P1 but the main difference is probably that I am using mainly
Strafe
but you are using multiple arrow. With
Strafe
Atma
procs very often and in places with a lot of ghosts or Stone skin heralds etc it makes the biggest difference. Also because of Faith I have max IAS breakpoint on
Strafe
even without extra IAS from amulet.

Yeah I got a lot of crafted or rare dual leech rings, but I really needed just LL and twisters are awesome when you are in strafelock. I can tp in the pack of cows or almost anything else and strafelock myself without fear. Even fast phys immune ghosts that are not dying with 1st or 2nd shot are stunned for a while and not giving me any dmg.

I chose helmet with +2 to ama skills, mana leech, extra frw, IAS and +34 max dmg. Makes 500dmg difference, helps with breakpoint etc.

Good point on Enigma. I forgot about the FRW it has. Although I currently have 97% FRW. With the diminishing returns on FRW from gear the 45% from Enigma will make little difference. The biggest downside to Enigma will be the loss of 29 all res that I currently get from fort. I already have very low res. Still, worth trying out.

"
Atma
is not pointless even on P1." I have to disagree here. Perhaps it makes perfect sense on your build but on mine it doesn't. Before I got the protectors Stone (-10 phys res) and phys sunder (-10 ) I used almost exclusively
Strafe
. Now, with -20 phys res multishot kills fast enough I've switched to multishot. I've tried atmas on P1 only using
Strafe
with 120IAS breakpoint. Even without -20 phys res everything is dead before it ever procs. You can see in my video everything dies very fast. Amp damage isn't useful in that case. The monsters have to be alive long enough to proc amp dmg and then long enough for it to even matter. On top of that missing the 20ias from the ammy slot is a big deal with
Windforce
. That drops me down to 85 ias where I miss the 89% ias breakpoint for standard/split arrow requiring Hustle/Mania which is far slower than Harmony.

I need that 45 IAS in the
Helm
with
Windforce
, though if I ever decide to switch to Faith might consider your
Helm
setup. I just prefer the marginally higher DPS from WF plus protectors Stone option and the biggest thing for me is the knockback. It really helps with survivability when using
Strafe
. Also I'm at lvl 98 and working hard to get to 99. The extra XP from the Stone is very desirable right now.

I've been crafting power hit gloves for awhile now hoping to get a good pair with 2/20 for use with Faith. Once that happens and I get to 99 I'm going to give Faith another go. Until then it sits in the stash.

All that said I will have to give your build a try sometime I have everything on your list, sounds like a fun build!
