Field report - amp damage demon

I saw a YouTube video where binding a witch / Fury that naturally casts amp damage seemed pretty compelling.

So I consumed my pre patch heph and gave it a shot.

Results are underwhelming. I would say she curses amp about 1/3 to 1/2 of the time in practice (unlike the video which was like 80-90%), and when she does it often only gets part of the crowd.

But then I miss having a tank in front of me. Full disclosure, I did not do the full version at the end of the video that used a unique that was cursed with multi shot as well to supplement the base curse rate. But even the non unique looked much better in the video (he showed both versions) than I am seeing in practice. Just FYI. Will probably try the unique version with a respect

Stygian Fury to get

Amplify Damage constantly but in that video the

Stygian Fury also had cursed affix,

Holy Freeze and multi-shot. So she cursed not only from her

Amplify Damage skill but also from the cursed affix due to

Holy Freeze and multi-shot.

Try a unique with lightning enchanted + cursed, it seems the charged

Bolts that they shoot out can proc amp. Still doesn't proc as fast as pre-patch, but the difference is really stark ime

I was using

The Reaper's Toll on my merc to make up for 3.2 but i've since switched to Obedience ^^

That is disappointing. I may try a few after respec next week to add a few data points.
