Is there any chance that facet x6 win out?

Crescent gives you 5 more -res.
6fac gives you 30 more %dmg.

Based on the rest of your build, that trade-off can end up being virtually identical or swing in either direction, depending on how much -res and %dmg you already have.

The result is only obvious if you don't have any other sockets available (say you run RW head, armor and shield) because then you'd be looking at 5 facets + ancient jewel which would give you the same -res as crescent but 35 dmg on top.

Given, crescent does have some other stats as well but for most builds, those are fairly irrelevant.

The mana after kill and the magic absorb are actually useful in many cases.

Hand of Justice at 33 or Grief at 32+ solves this nicely. Crescent Moon Runeword is therefore only a cheaper alternative.

Horazon's Legacy for Dream/Dragon Pallies/Sorcs is bonkers. Here you can justify losing a

Raven Frost and get an

Opalvein instead, or some rare ring. Oh and you are still missing 2 IAS this way for Crescent Moon Runeword. Oops.
