Can be used to make Runewords:
I don't believe that we will get act 6.
This would require some serious hard and long work for Blizz. Much more than just making an imbalanced new class with some new skills that have partly already existed in D1 (see the Warlock Fire skills.)
Also many "new" additions of RotW are just improvements of old stuff like the new sunders and Uber Ancients.
A new act means new monsters, a new landscape, new quests etc. They would actually have to think and do a lot. I don't believe that's going to happen.
Act 4 on the other have might get 2 or 3 new areas, which probably just look like the other 5 areas. That's not so much work.

Its is just like DotA and is super toxic. And I had to do the same "mute /all" every game lol.Schnorki wrote: 1 day agoNever bothered with LoL much myself but sounds like in that, too it is just a "different DotA 2" then. ^^Bizington wrote: 1 day ago[..]
Oml, I used to play LoL, for a short time bc all my other gamer friends were into it. That community is TOXIC AS ALL HELL. I hated the game bc the community was so fucking harsh, it was like fuck this.

The only thing that made that game bearable to play was the "mute all chat" option. Literally the single most important feature in the entire game. Sad as it is.

I think this is a possibility for one reason; that survey. This was not the action of some overzealous employee. Blizzard is just like every other large corporation, actions such as this survey are done with paranoid levels of caution. The idea of even doing this survey (regardless of questions) indicated something was afoot. My best guess is that with the release of D2R in China, the market is there to warrant some funding. The immediate sales of ROTW were enough to meet some metric that triggered the release of the survey. The multi layers of bureaucracy that exists in a company the size of Blizzard, things like that survey get released after the decision has been made. My own company now operates the same way, so frustrating.
BTW, kind of a funny irony. Around last fall I made a simple post on Blizzard's D2R forum that basically said "If D2R sales are really good in China, we could expect maybe something like stash tabs". That post was removed that same day. Very strange.
Exactly right. That survey would have needed so much signoff on the questions etc. While I am not betting on act 6 necessarily, it seems entirely possible that we will get another paid expansion, with at least one of:
I can kinda see that continuing until the cash cow dries up. Though the fragmentation will get outrageous if we have like, Classic, LoD, RoTW, whatever the next one is, and another one. I dont know how to avoid it, but it is already bad enough.
- New Character
- New act
- More content/ quests in Act 4

This is a very good information, thank you very much!sbn wrote: 15 hours agoI think this is a possibility for one reason; that survey. This was not the action of some overzealous employee. What is the villain you think that can be the one we fight in act 6?
There is one rule, above all others, for being a man. Whatever comes, face it on your feet.
Trades: NL/SC
Time Zone: GMT-3 (Buenos Aires - Argentina)
Does there even need to be a villain? Do we even need this to contain a story. What I am getting at is they could just make a new act like area that is designed 100% for just end game activities. Small town where a few fields we need to go to collect items, maybe something like Wirt's little brothers arm to open up Kakumba's red portal to Terrorized cows
What I do not want to see, is any game design similar to what they did with Heralds/Sunders and Terrorized boss statue drops. The jewel is nice, I am going to collect it if it is there. But we really did not need this. And worst of all, what I do not want to see is overload of RNG stacking game designs.
Just give me Kakumba's new cow portal and I am fine
I love the possibility of doing full acts with increased difficulty (terrorizing an entire act) when it comes with an extra benefit (heralds). Even so, I almost never have that much time available. I hate having to farm the same area—especially when most of them don’t have an end-of-act boss, just because it’s the terrorized zone, and I feel like I lose the incentive when farming elsewhere. I think the new system, where the chances of a Herald increase with each mob you kill, will be much more aligned with the kind of fun I expect from the game.
