Drink rejuvs. Witht he qol on stacking rejuvs in stash, i have no problem storing them
D2 has always been a trade off game since the begining(was worst in original d2), with lod and rotw, mana is of a less issue.
All classes have to balance damage/surviability/kill speed, some just does it better than others
U cant compare d2 to moderm arpg. I get where u going. Some arpg gives u unlimited mana so u can focus on spamming shltload of screen filling aoe’s skills and spells to see wll the mobs die in instant…
I also play grim dawn. That game “sort of” givr u unlimited mana even though u can mana pots as well, hence when i make a build in that game, i always make glasscannon or tanks.
At the end of the day, d2 is not a moderm arpg - either you adapt and enjoy the game as it is or play another game that fits your playing style.
If mana pots was as an issue, and if this was brought up in early 2k, i am sure bliz would have fixed it at that time? This tells me th majority of d2 players back then now are A-ok with mana ‘issue’ in this game
They've tuned the game so that you need less potions during normal gameplay, but more during boss fights.
It feels exactly as it should be and that was the idea behind this topic.
Mana sustain is easier to achieve without sacrificing stats. Regularly used items have MAEK/LAEK added, so you don't need to switch to worse ones.
Mana costs have been adjusted so that most skills can be used indefinitely when used as intended.

Understand what you mean, I also find potting annoying... but well, as many have said above, it's a matter of finding the playstyle that suits you the best. Especially with warlocks being so strong, sacrifying a bit of pure dps for a bit of QoL seems absolutely fair (for now at least, PTR changes may change that a bit).
