Still... why can't you just drink mana pots? You just don't want to?

Anyway, regardless, you mentioned other games do not have this "mana sustain" dull mechanic... then go back to those games?

Like everyone is saying, you can complain all you want, but you are the one playing the game.

The Warlock came out busted, we all knew nerfs were coming. No other class has infinite mana, or infinite anything (aside from Mosaic Sin, and we see what that did to the game...)

A majority of this community that you are starting to see the "reputation" of... has been playing the game, drinking blue potions, for over 20 years.

Really, just drink the damn pots, or go to another game.

We really don't know what else to tell you.

I also find it funny you have yet to respond to any of my posts. Selective debating.

Cheers.

I hate drinking mana pots, especially if it's very frequent, so I do get where you're coming from, but I think the mechanics currently in place work perfectly well.

Just as a crude example from my perspective: I dug up my fire bowa yesterday for the first time in ages, and I have War Travs on for a bit of mf, but it means I have to drink a load more mana. I can
Sacrifice
the mf by putting on
Silkweave
and solving the problem, or
Sacrifice
damage by either replacing Infinity with Insight or swapping my weapon to Phoenix for the
Redemption
aura. I have choices, which I think is as it should be.

I've not played PD2, what do they do differently? And what is your solution? I can't see how reducing the volume of mana pots would make any difference whatsoever? And infinite mana would just make Insight and
Silkweave
redundant, how can that be good?

Hidden in all the grumbling, there is one correct criticism:

A tradeoff between joyfully gameplay vs. clear speed is a bad design decision because this usually ends in less joy.

As many others, I don't have an issue with picking up and managing potions. For me it's quite a big part of the game because honestly, there is not much else to do. You click on enemies until everything is dead and you keep both the red and blue bubble from empty while doing so.

Back to the criticism:
I find the trade off of inventory space vs. charms more annoying. You fill you inv. with charms and then you have to drop all the loot in the cube. It's quite cumbersome but there is no way you'd drop 8 skill points just to get your inventory back.

tl;dr:
Trade-off between power and survivability good;
Trade-off between power and joy bad.

OP: My warlock doesnt have enough mana to spam ridiculously powerful spells without investing in mana, using other then max dps gear or drinking mana potions.

Community: Explains that D2 was always about trade offs and offered a lot of good solutions.

OP: Now I know why you are so bad and evil.

Indeed the Inventory space is giving me hard PTSD, then you also need to sort out your charms so hopefully all of the same types can be next to each other as it will look better and not like a cluster fuck from hell.

yeah another Cube in the Cube would be nice or something like that xD
or the option to
Sacrifice
running speed for more inventory space to carry shit.
