Griffon's eye

I just found

Griffon's Eye but ethereal (-16 res, 13 AD, +158 Def). I hate this game atm...What do u guys think I should do with it?

Zod it or try to get rid of it and find another one?

I just bought an

Eth unid one to try it out. My thought: Just do cows and dont get hit -> Griffons will last "forever".
it doesnt. just from collecting wleg, it already lost 3durability due to archers on the way.

Zod it depending on how rich i am right now and other options i have to replace it. It is a BiS gg gear piece after all and even with low-mid rolls it is still great.

Baal, in /players 7 (way longer than p1 unless you have gg gear), with 300 Magic Find (usually means less power in your c har since you have to accomodate that MF in your gear) is a chance of 1 in 21 714. The chance for a Max Roll on both the most desireable stats are:

• -15-20% To Enemy Lightning Resistance: 1 in 5 (or 20%)
• +10-15% To Lightning Skill Damage: 1 in 5 (or 20%)

So a max roll for both is 0.2*0,2 = 0,04 = 4%

So the chances for a max roll

Baal in that conditions is 1 in 21 714/0,04 which gives us

1 in 542 850

PS: farming

Pindleskin is way more efficient due to way faster run speed.

@crocorinho Just to make it clear: Yes, it was humour. I will keep it for now, I guess. It will become interesting when i respec to lightning sorc or my javazon is ready ( still lvl 10 ). I will see in a few weeks/days.

Put uber lightning jewel in it to make it perfect and put it on merc. Idk. wouldnt use

If the range is 15-20, there are 6 values. So you have 1 in 6 chance for either roll. Seams like a small thing?
Chances for perfect is 2.78%, not 4%.

That's a bad roll as well. Only use for it is to put a low/mid facet in there and hand it to a Merc. A3 ones come to mind but also Infinity wielding Emilios or off-meta builds with CTC

If you don't like either of these options, sell it. But don't expect to get high value for it.

Act 2 mercs don't do lightning damage if their weapon does not explicitly do lightning damage. So an Infinity + Griffon's combo will do nothing in terms of lightning damage. And the minus to enemy light res only applies for the wielder (merc) and not for your main char. Act 3 lightning merc can make use of Griffon but their spells will still just tickle the monsters.
