Anyone else lost their Chronicle progress?

For the next short while, do not identify any set or unique items in the Chronicle that have dropped from weapon or armor racks. Identifying these items for Chronicle tracking will wipe out data for the entire Chronicle whenever we save out the character next.

You can keep these items unidentified in your inventory or stash right now. Once we deploy a fix during our next server hotfix it will then be safe to identify.

We will update this thread when we have better timing for the Server hotfix that should fix this issue, thanks for your patience.

Okay, at least it's a known issue now. Luckily I'm on SP - I suppose online is a bit trickier, since basically every other player can corrupt your Chronicle now, if an eligible item drops from a rack.

Good to see them finally acknowledge it.

Where is that topic though?
Still isn't listed in their known issues.
(Man I wish they'd finally learn to communicate properly, let alone efficiently...)

Seems this has (supposedly) been fixed for online play, so long as you logged out and back in since their server fix.

Offline play remains bugged until the next client update.

Anyone brave enough to actively test the online fix?

Yeah I lost it multiple times now and I swear I had to have close to the record of finding and making Enigma found

Ber act 5 just while completing the campaign it was the craziest and best drops I’ve ever had now my Enigma doesn’t count, Treachery which I made 2 days ago that’s gone now but as of today it seems like it’s saving them now I just wish there was a way to be able to drop the item and have it count again cuz I don’t plan on making Enigma again for a SP account specially when the first time I ran an assasssin through it took me close to 2 months of grinding to get

I just lost all progress today on single player chronicle. I found

Shako and Grandfather yesterday... I am certain I checked Chronicle yesterday and was at 42%, and now I'm at 0%. I'm not convinced this is solely due to a single bug related to items spawned by racks suppossedly fixed a month ago. I don't recall any sets/uniques coming from a rack today...

I was able to restore my lost progress by restoring a backup of the "ModernSharedStashSoftCoreV2.d2i" file in the Saved Games folder. I make a backup of the entire directory once every day to my NAS.

I won't get progress for anything I found today, but it's a trade I'm willing to make...

It was hotfxed for online play, but I haven't heard whether they have actually fixed it for offline play yet (I don't think so - it would require a patch, and I haven't seen any new patches in the bnet app for quite a while). But sure, it's not impossible that there are other possible causes, I don't know.

In the meantime, feel free to use the Holy Grail Tracker on this site, at least this one works... :S
