First time ever seeing these red trees in Act 3

Flayer Jungle. I remember Act 3 is always/mostly green trees. Anyone else seen these before?

Your data folder is corrupted. Do a scan and repair or delete your data folder completely and THEN do a scan and repair.

My first thought: this was caused by some sort of graphic artifact.

I didn't seem like any bugs or artifacts. I exit that game (without closing the game client) and made a few more new games. I wasn't able to see the trees anymore.

Yea that definitely shouldnt be happening. Ive not come up with any of these yet, I wonder whats causing these texture glitches to you people?
I might be safe due to having 2024 december GPU drivers :'D

I have a feeling any newer driver would also mess things up.

Imo it would be neat addition to the terrorized zone for it to "corrupt" the landscape aswell step by step until like 10 first minutes and its full "bloom" and then after 15 minutes passed it starts to "decay" out again until it runs out fully.

There are all sorts of visual issues in this game, beyond the ones caused by an unclean install for many since RotW.
And one of those is the possibility of trees appearing where they shouldn't, such as floating in act 4:
