Just want to point out that this is NOT a perfect, it is the worst. The best is -70.

It's true, unless the wording on the charm is incorrect. It would've said "monster cold resist" if it was a beneficial affix.
Look at your character sheet with the charm in your inventory. I have not yet seen a latent charm, but all of the pre RotW sunder charms made you more vulnerable in some way in exchange for the sunder.
The monster resist is always sundered to 95%, it is your own resist that gets negated in a variable way. This is what I have learned

What you don't know is that the new Latent sunder charms will always roll the worst stat in this case -90%. It will reroll from -70 to -90 when you use the cube recipe. That's why I put "Perfect" since that's the only roll it will go.

Though it's a very rare item and the item pool we have to work with is low, the page here for the item is showing -70 to -90 for the latent elemental charms. There are also some postings for other latent (non upgraded) charms that have a - resist different than 90.
THAT SAID...I don't personally know if doing the cube recipe changes the resist amount. It could make it better, make it worse or not change at all.

Confidently incorrect. They hotfixed latents two days ago with the ladder launch. Latents now roll with a variable -res range (and that -res range has always applied to the player fyi). Also look at the latent item descriptions in the database. Curious to see if you'll double down again lmao.
In other words, your latent has the worst possible roll. It gives the player -90 res instead of a possible -70.

actually this is slightly incorrect.....when you use the new "latent sunder charm" and reroll it in the cube to make the new "renewed sunder charm", the renewed versions WILL ALWAYS be at -70%. so it does not matter what the latent % is, it is simply the requirement for the new renewed version of the charm.
Latent Sunder charms will roll with -70 to -90 just like "regular sunders" but the difference is that they will always reroll to -70 in the renewed version.

@TooRowdy , latent sunder charms don't roll but are fixed to 90%. Renewed roll and don't always roll to 70%, how did you get so much wrong in one paragraph. How is it possible to write something so incorrect and be that confident? Did you just ask AI?
