Description
After release latent sunder charm cubed into renewed rolled their -% resistance in the 70-90 range (10-30 for Bone Break, 45-65 for Black Cleft).
I made a Renewed Flame Rift in cube and rolled -90% on it.
Couple days ago I crafted a -45% Black Cleft.
Apparently all renewed sunder charms now roll perfect -% score.
There was a hotfix in between. Not sure, if anyone documented it?
Too bad (or is it?) for early adopters who got a random roll in the first wave. They are strictly worse but objectively super-rare now, as there will be only a handful of them.

Can be used to make Runewords:

Can trade on LoD, RotW, and Ladder/Non-Ladder
Yeah Th3ory let me know a couple days ago - there was a hotfix - and I confirmed looking at the new game files.
Latents now have a variable -res roll, and Reneweds always roll perfect -res. Database was updated.

Thx for the info! This increased my interest in the new Sunder Charms exponentially...
I hope to find one or two until the end of the year
After a 20 year break from D2 I started playing D2R in 2024 with my sons (9 and 10 years old)
Time Zone: UTC/GMT +1/+2 (Germany)
Online workdays: casually from 07:00-09:00 pm
Online weekends: casually midday to evening
Non-Ladder | Softcore | Expansion

Made a short on it here since no one caught it before ladder
How about the old Latent Sunder charms that only rolls the worst stats? Will they roll perfect with the renewed sunders?
I got one charm out of I dont know...60+ heralds over past weeks. But their spawn rate is very inconsistent, I agree
Every Herald tier can drop them. But given the Tier4/Tier5's have higher guaranteed drop rates, on top of the highest quality factors now in the game, you have a better shot at Latent there.
You and I must be on the same PTR where they have Latent Sunders turned off.
Will buy any 3 minor keys for an Ist - message me.
Will accept statues and keys instead of rune payments for my trades.

Ladder 'PTR' has heralds turned off entirely, not just sunders
There's a lot of conflicting information on the net as to which Heralds can drop what. According to a Reddit post taken with a grain of salt, only Tier 4 or higher Heralds can drop latent sunders.
This has been disproven already with video recordings - latents can drop from even Herald of Fright - the lowest tier.
Dude, you're supposed to run with a joke, not kill it haahaa

You can see here - this is a Tier1 Herald dropping a Sunder with video evidencemhlg wrote: 2 weeks agoThere's a lot of conflicting information on the net as to which Heralds can drop what. According to a Reddit post taken with a grain of salt, only Tier 4 or higher Heralds can drop latent sunders.

Herald of Fright is a Tier1 Herald. I have also tested it and they dropped on Tier1, albeit it took a LONG time.
Ok sorry. I see where the confusion is and just clarified with Pavke.

ALL Tiered Heralds can drop...
Offline
ONLY Tier 4 and Tier 5's
Unsure if this was truly intended - but this is an interesting nugget.
Note: The thesis here is that its probably a leftover condition from alpha testing or something. And when they pushed the patch/live, they "boosted" the drops for their online servers but forgot to change it for offline.
Heralds are guaranteed to drop items, but Sunders (and their table) still have a significant NoDrop. Thus, increased /playerx would improve the drop rates. This could be another reason why they elected to make it harder offline.

At least it adds a little credence to that Reddit Tier 4 grain of salt.War The Wise wrote: 2 weeks agoOk sorry. I see where the confusion is and just clarified with Pavke.
