Have you found a latent sunder charm?

Just curious if my experience is normal or not. Chime in if you've found one or not. If you have found one or more, please elaborate on the circumstances surrounding it, i.e. did you chain together heralds to get the the fifth level of heralds? I've killed a lot of heralds but I haven't been past the second level and I have yet to find a sunder.

Killed many, havent seen a charm.

There were rumors they would increase drop rate before ladder launched. Keen to find out if that's true as might determine whether or not i play ladder....

If getting a sunder remains this difficult in RotW new ladder，you may consider getting an old version sunder from LoD and then transfer it over. That way at least you will still have the same ability to deal with immunities for the early stage.

oh nice. Do we know if you can port characters from exp to warlock on ladder and if so, if they can bring sunders?

You can convert characters (and keep existing old sunders) on non-ladder as it is, and Blizzard hasn’t said anything about ladder being different. But I guess we’ll see.

As for Latent Sunder Charms - I spent a lot of Sunday and every evening during the week farming only TZ 96 - killed lots of heralds (sadly didn’t count), mostly tier 5*, and I haven’t found a single Latent Sunder Charm. I leveled from 94 to 96 in the process, found some nice items, but no sunders.

* I deliberately try to chain them in the same game by terrorizing entire acts, unless I’m specifically running an act boss for statues (and eventually you’re forced to start over from tier 1 as you run out of tz:s to clear, and terrorizing a whole act speeds up that process) - in most of my long running games like that I probably killed 10-15 heralds in total, of which majority is tier 5 obviously

I'd guess i'm about 60-80 heralds in and 0 drops so far.

I've been mostly leveling my warlock in between work and kid stuff and I've only come across a handful of heralds "of fright" farming TZs with my FoH smiter here and there.

Looks like we can convert characters, going to level a sorc in expansion now and hopefully find some sunders and test it out...

Alltogether.

I solo'ed my Java from 96 to 97 (!!!) and found absolutely nothing.

Fuck them Heralds...

I believe so. Consider that normal unique monsters are guaranteed to drop one "good" item (equipment of at least magic quality, a rune, a jewel, a charm, or a gem, pretty much), and super uniques are guaranteed to drop two. Well, Heralds have extra drops too - at tier 1 they drop two items like a super unique, and at tier 5 they drop four items from my observations (though I haven't exactly been counting the drops every time). That should equal better chance of dropping a latent sunder charms (but not I'm not a drop mechanic expert).

Terror were the only ones who could drop a latent sunder. If anyone knows 100% for sure and can clarify that'd be awesome

There is video evidence of a latent sunder droppping from a tier 1. But there is supposed to be a condition on tier (as far as I know it's been confirmed for offline - but online might be different). There is still some uncertainty here.
