Troll Belt, the granted by the latter two items +18 to fire ball skill becomes meaningfully improved by 1 point to all skills and by 2 points to fire skills by the Naj's Ancient Vestige set with additional point to all skills from set's

Elder Staff and

Hellforge Plate each!

The magic find is nice, I kind of wish the full set just offered +3 skills to not limit it to fire. I agree with bigbikefan, with the

Teleport charges on staff I see this as something you'd use for an non-Sorc caster build like his Trang fire necro, or a nm Fire Druid.

This set is very underrated in RoTW. As a budget build pre-Enigma, the staff can be wielded one-handed by a warlock. When you add in either the

Helm or the armor, you get a substantial amount of magic find to help you farm upgrades in other slots. What's nice about doing this on a warlock is that not only is the staff decent aside from the

Teleport charges, you can use a book or Spirit shield alongside it and not even bother weapon swapping to

Teleport.

The

Circlet, while not particularly impressive is a pretty common drop you will start to see early on. The +Strength given by this

Helm also makes it easier to hit the 156str needed for a

Monarch shield for Spirit.

The

Light Plate is a bit more uncommon, but it can be dropped by Hell

Mephisto which is probably a run you'll be doing to farm better gear already.

The repair costs can be expensive, but so long as you're making 70K-100K

Gold from selling trash loot (very doable) before you need to repair it's quite negligible. Not to mention that a chipped gem+

Ort rune can repair the charges when cubed without spending any

Gold at all.

If you think it will be a while before you get your hands on an Enigma, I strongly recommend this set (the staff especially) as a starter for ANY Warlock.
