D2R expansion announced: Reign of the Warlock

Many benefits, some concerns - my biggest:

1. Will this not fracture the community further? We already have 9 groups: Pre-Expansion Soft Core/Hard Core with Ladder/Non-Ladder, Expansion Soft Core/Hard Core with Ladder/Non-Ladder, and Offline (obviously variations within offline, but its all solo play at that point anyway). At least I think that is all the permutations.

This new expansion brings the total to 13 possible groups, making public games and trading more difficult for some (i.e. Hardcore LOD Non-Ladder)

2. "Herald of

Terror stalk the player and find you in the game, get more powerful each time" - okay, can this be un-checked at game generation, like how

Terror-zones can be turned off?

If you are in a public game, how does it decide how powerful to be (like if I killed him twice but the game creator killed him 50 times, is the

Terror Stalker coming in at his 51st iteration to nuke my character?)
Imagine the Chaos this adds to Hardcore

"Advanced stash tabs - dedicated tabs for Gems, Materials, and Runes. Gems, Materials, and Runes can all be stacked."

I hope you can trade stacks of gems or runes in a trade window. That would help with the giant trades that happen sometimes. Trading 100 pgems or giant stacks of high level runes would be more secure.

Alright, now that I finally got the purchase to go through (auth app broken, payment system broken...solid start, Blizz!):
Nope, hair is looking normal for me.

Does anybody know whether it will be possible for people without the expansion to play/trade with people owning the expansion?

Also, any idea on when the Switch patch will be rolled out? I am trying to launch the game but it says it's running an old version, but the system update functionality says it is running the latest version. In short, can't play anymore.

Absolutely incredible. Tons of us even with optimism didn't think they'd do it. Loot filter, new class... crazy stuff.

1) Obviously it would as there will be a percentage of players who will choose to remain on Resurrected and not buy/migrate to RotW.

2) Have no idea on whether this mechanic is toggleable but you will find out shortly as some streamers are already playing through the new xpac.

In the Chronicles there is still 7 grand charms (6 sunders +

Gheed), one large for torch and one small for anni

so uber ancients are not granting a charm

Nope, hair is looking normal for me.

Just bought it and it seems there are also additional char slots. So you can test the new features without transfering the old chars.

It just happened to me as well... all the characters and any fur from armor is White. Not only that, but some sound is bugged too, as I have no SFX when casting spells and the SFX from any of the spells elements (i.e. the Druid boulder not having a "rolling" SFX...).

Did you get any luck with a full re-install??

I did a full reinstall and that fixed everything. D2R LOD is not updatable properly to ROTW so fully reinstall the game and remove all previous mods for now (do not reinstall calebs)

Not a fan of the new class, just tried it out, looks a bit off.. but I do like the QoL changes. Maybe there are some new runewords too.

Yeah, had to attempt it several times until I worked, but hey, stackable items!!! Nice, 25 bucks is a lot tough, but looking at the time I spent in the last weeks in this game...

Yeah, I created a lot of expansion mules, gave them items, and converted them.

Okay, FYI a Switch update is now available.

Just installed the new version and all the effects became catastrophic.
Characters are Black with White hairs, map layout has disapeared for me, the sound is a mess. What did they just do ?
Seems they didn't test the version before putting it into production.

In Switch I can only see a personal and one Shared tab in the stash, were are the other two (and all the items within!)?

Edit: Nevermind, you can move across them using the L/R keys. Phew.

Anyone else getting "chat not available, account under review" what the hell does that mean?
