Switch (nintendo) players from europe around?

Hey,
i started playing casual after more than 20 years.... i play on switch since d2r does not run on MAC!
anyone from europe around? i am looking for players to play in a group and trade.... since there is no in game chat for switch i would like to use discord or some msg app to communikate while playing....

i just started a ladder amazon and wanna play during the next season... i can only play some hours at the evening after the kids are in bed.... since i also need to go to work i do not have a ton of time on my hands! so any help is welcome!

I tried but I find d2r unenjoyable on switch. Didn't even reach Andy.

I even chose a char that doesn't need to aim because that's cumbersome. But everything else is too! Picking up stuff and IDing it is awful.

How do you play? Is there a trick I didn't find?

D2R runs on a Mac well as hell, even with out crossover.

Before I managed to run the game on my Mac, I tried to play it on switch, but it's way too arcade for me. Maybe for easy and casual farming it could be ok, but for anything more challenging I find the switch controls not precise enough

Well for starters it resets so the economy isnt subject to inflation. Everything holds its value better.

Secondly, there's alot of ladder only runewords.

Third, the reset puts everyone on a more or less fair playing field at the beginning of a reset.

Fourth, some of us like to challenge ourselves a little bit and see if we can get 1 character to 99 or see how many chars we can finish Hell difficulty with inside of 1 ladder season. I could probably dig up a few more points if really necessary but I think that covers most of the essentials.

If youre used to playing on consoles in general it's better. I got a newer laptop recently and I could be playing
HCL on it but I'm still slugging away on my switch here because

1) something about lounging on my couch with a controller in my hands is much more relaxing than sitting hunched over at a computer (probably because I do that at work often), especially when the console has my 60" LCD TV as opposed to a laptop screen

2) controls honestly seem simpler/more streamlined. In some ways they are inferior - for example you can't telestomp as accurately and necros can't target corpses specifically. But in other ways this makes the gameplay faster, which is enjoyable for fast paced builds such as FoH smiter,

Frenzy Barb, Zealer etc. For summoner necro,

Fire Wall sorc, it seems the opposite is true.

3) it feels like computers have way more technical issues and need more screwing around than consoles alot of times. Console you fire it up and just start playing, there's a simplicity to it which just feels more relaxing.

Just my 2 cents. Anyone can go ahead and disagree, that's just my experience.

summon necro was pretty cool to play, but i cant beat hell

You can beat Hell

Baal alone if you do it right. I have a Bone necro with 1 point into all Summon Tree except

Fire Golem and my summons tank Hell

Baal on P3. It isnt quick but it gets the job done reliably and consistently.

Use

Nihlathak's Temple to get skellies+mages quickly right away. Then get as many Urdar revives from

River of Flame as u can. Otherwise get Blunderbores from

Frigid Highlands or

Blood Lord / Death Lord from any Ice cavern levels or WSK.

If you can get at least 6+ Urdars /

Blood Lord /

Thorned Hulk plus your skellies+mages+

Clay Golem then you're cooking him. Decrep kinda breaks his AI so he won't

Teleport ot clone. Then decrep+

Clay Golem will slow him so much he can barely even attack. Again, youre not gonna tear through him as fast as a Smiter, but you'll get it done safely and reliably.

I played a cold magezon last season and can highly recommend it. Get a

Wizendraw, they are super cheap and totally undervalued.
Hustle weapon on your Merc is another very cheap and good option, since it provides you with fanatism aura.

As soon as you get a

Cold Rupture, no other skills are needed.

Fire is too weak. It's common to use strife as 2nd skill but I just dumped left over skill points on additional passive skills to boost my

Valkyrie. She tanks
