Belt is really nice if you want to make

Uber Tristram with a Blizzard sorceress. Especially against the

Chilling Armor from Uber Izual and

Uber Baal and the Bone Mages from

Uber Mephisto the maximum cold resistance and absorption really shine. Together with pre-drinking several Thawing Potions one becomes immune to cold damage.

On top of that it boosts your damage output quite a lot.

The skill level (slvl) of Blizzard cast when struck is not randomly selected when the

Snowclash is dropped - rather, it is calculated from the ilvl and the native required level (rlvl) of the skill, which is 24 in case of Blizzard. The list below shows the relationship between the slvl of the Blizzard CtC effect and ilvl.
