You must be running with 10-12GB VRAM size. That's gonna take a Lo-o-o-ong time of continuous play to fill leaking Memory up to crashing point. My RX 580 (technically, an RX 570 OC) got only 4 GB of VRAM, thus a much narrower timeframe.d2rppa69 wrote: 1 day agoBeen logging on and off and playing various classes, i havent had a crash yet.

This has been my case as well re: "profane" words plus if I start a online game, have to log out of game back to bnet screen and go again..... and if I try to join with another char (two accounts + two games - swap stuff) it's coming up with "you cannot join the game" because your char isn't b/w 'x' and 'x' level number. This has never happened before the update.oOKIWIOo wrote: 3 days agoI have not more crashes since the patch but I have disconnection issues or cannot create games because it says I use "profane" words in the game name![]()
Someone once told me... "Never go full Sigon's"..... Sage advice!
Always available for help/trade and maybe some freebies along the way depending on what I have and what you need

The second problem you mentioned I encounter, too.DwPvsZtO wrote: 1 day agoThis has been my case as well re: "profane" words plus if I start a online game, have to log out of game back to bnet screen and go again..... and if I try to join with another char (two accounts + two games - swap stuff) it's coming up with "you cannot join the game" because your char isn't b/w 'x' and 'x' level number. Yes, the game has just randomly closed a few times. Also captured this screenshot at a waypoint.
Eastern Standard Time.
A new game update has come. My issues with random crashes when using town portal and waypoints is now gone it seems. Hope everbody else's issues also is gone
How do you know about an update? I haven't seen anything pushed. I've been playing close to a couple of hours now, and everything works so far just fine. Yesterday the game blew up on the 3rd consecutive play hour.kimaalfr wrote: 11 hours agoA new game update has come. A d2r update startet when i woke up and started the bnet app. Can also see it on the version number under the play button. Now it says 1.7.90898. Wasn't that before the new update was installed.bigbikefan wrote: 9 hours agoHow do you know about an update? I haven't seen anything pushed. I think I saw that version number there yesterday too, but I can't prove it, as I haven't captured a screenshot of it. Well, if they did fix it, kudos to 'em. I've heard people have been complaining about the issue on other than diablo2.io and us.forums.blizzard sites too.kimaalfr wrote: 9 hours ago

Yes, things look much better now, as I've been running the game for over 3 hours without any issue. I'm glad they fixed it, and it feels great to be a part of the dedicated players team who encouraged Blizzard to take an action rather soon.kimaalfr wrote: 9 hours ago

Blizzard wrote:Hello everyoneā
Today we deployed an update intended to address several stability issues weāve been tracking, while also expanding our crash reporting to give the team better visibility into the underlying causes of these problems.
This patch includes fixes/logging for some of the crashes weāve been seeing, most notably:
Crashes occurring when exiting the game
GPU-related issues, which can happen when running multiple clients, and, in some cases, during actions such as teleporting or traveling through waypoints
In addition to these, the update improves the data we capture when a crash does occur. This additional information will help us more accurately identify why this behavior is happening and guide further improvements.
Weāll continue to monitor the results from this patch and build on what we learn here in future updates. As always, we appreciate your patience and the reports youāve been submittingāthey are a critical part of helping us track these issues down.
Thank you much,
Cederquist
