Don't forget the
Salvation
Aura!
It is in many guides not mentioned, because if you have very good gear you don't need it.
But one single point in it already is +60% all resistance.
And since you have + gear it will probably be at something like 80% or even higher.

That helps a lot against Mephis aura - some suggest using the
Conviction
Aura yourself, to "overwrite" the one of Mephi. But you need lvl 21 for that, so a lot of skill points.

And maybe the +Resi with
Salvation
are already enough to get your lightning resistance to 300 or 320 (depending on your max lightning Resistance)

As armor: Sure, Enigma is great - and if you know the layout the
Teleport
is invaluable.

But a more safe option is
Guardian Angel

It increases your max resistance to 90. And if you have
Thundergod's Vigor
as
Belt
, your max lightning resistance is 95% (Probably not needed, but better safe than sorry)

So if you get to 320 All Resistance with
Salvation
, Mephi can't do anything against you.

Your damage becomes "irrelevant", if you need a minute longer or not to defeat him? Who cares.
Then you can switch to Fanatism against
Baal
and Diablo.

Keep in mind, that my suggestions are not the meta, in the sense that other ways are faster.
It is a safe option, that will result on you (probably) never dying and not even needing much potions.

And if you do not plan to run
Uber Tristram
10 times a day, it doesn't matter if the whole process (including farming the brain and the other stuff) takes a few more minutes or not.
Oh I am for sure the safety guy over the speed guy, I am not trying to set records here, just trying to get a torch have the experience, and not dying would be a great plus. I am softcore, so not the end of the world literally if I die, but still I would rather avoid it.

I do have
Guardian Angel
and that is an interesting idea, just take it all to the max, and hit him until he dies.

Good advice, and my play style more matches what you are saying here anyway. Can I give up Enigma though? Oh.... hmmm.... that would be tough, I hit that B button all the time ;)

Enigma to not waste your time running around looking for them, and draculs/Exile to make sure it procs as soon as you start hitting. it turns very easy.
Oh, I love my Enigma and while you could do all of this without it, running LK until I could make Enigma was worth the grind once I was done
I got my Enigma by simply farming lol, found the runes by the time my sorc was 96 and all the other characters are 90 lol.
my sorc is now 98, once she hits 99 I think I will start farming with trapsin, windruid or summon necro.

One more tip for
Lilith
: Her den is similar to the tower of the council but bigger. The map layout is still left turn from the entry.

Duriel
is usually just north of the entry or anywhere on the map.

Lilith
is also the most dangerous by far. Keep BO up and make sure you are not curses and she doesn't have might aura nearby. She can easily onehit 3+k damage.

On your first run, clear everything and don't just
Teleport
in there. I'd opt for
Guardian Angel
over Enigma for a first run.

In Tristan, lure
Mephisto
out to the south at the "summoning Stone". Have
Fade
proc'ed from a treatch, it helps with countering the lvl 20
Conviction
aura. I usually run a lvl 21
Conviction
against him but you won't have this luxury with your hybrid setup, so you need a lot of over stacked res.

I've got on SCNL
- Mosaics, Cures, and Hustles
- GG crafted amulets
- Perfect uniques
- Bases

OP is offline. Doesn't appear he has a
Ber
or
Jah
yet.
Yep, offline, and I do have Enigma, that is where all my
Ber
's went, and so so so so worth it. If my game bugged and I lost Enigma I would be so mad and go right back to LK and grind until I get it again, its that good
Nintendo Switch is known to have issues with items being deleted specifically on offline SP. This happens often when you move items from Personal Stash or Char Inventory into Shared Stash while the console has no internet connection or unstable internet connection, and then subsequently close the software thereafter. The same process also done in reverse can cause items to duplicate themselves (i.e. moved from Shared into Personal/Inv). All of this also applies if the switch is set to airplane mode.

The way to prevent this is to hard save (i.e. save&exit twice in a row) and then DO NOT close the software afterwards for at least 30 seconds. Personally I like to wait at least a couple minutes to be sure, or you can also put the console on sleep mode without closing the software which has appeared to be safe based on my experience.

That is super helpful, thank you! I had lost a few things with this bug, nothing major, an
Edge Bow
I moved around for gambling purposes and thought I was losing my mind. When my Spirit Shield and Hoto dupped, and my
Edge Bow
was gone. For sure got lucky it went this way and not the other.

What I wasn't sure of is how to make sure it doesn't happen. So yeah I have been paitently waiting at the char screen, but the save and exit twice is perfect!
